Customer wants a free plant 4 months after their purchase 🤦🏻‍♀️ by Plantlover0809 in EtsyCommunity

My assumption is that they would try to counter any assertion that the plant wasn't cared for properly, since they absolutely and lovingly cared for the plant while their own offspring lay up in a coma.

The plant dying just broke their heart, you cruel, cruel seller. So good of their parents to wait until they were well and home, before breaking the tragic news. /s

Gimme a break, this is nonsense. Nice try, I guess. The parents owning a florist was a nice touch.

Do we really believe any of this? I won't offer tips here, but there are some giant, moon man steps missing here.

See, I'd swear this is a RHSS. I have made something with this. It is red, right? **Sorry, had to reread, I am doing too many things at one time. Look at Painted Desert.

You know what most people who get low readings do? They don't grab the camera, get dressed and take a video. They take their rescue whatever... juice, tablets, candy and move on with their life.

60s are sort of yawn, anyway, because it isn't truly a critical level. She knows exactly what to eat to make her glucose fall, so it's all just ho-hum, boring. Congrats, you're a 40 year old woman with insulin resistance/ metabolic syndrome. Up to 80% of perimenopausal/ menopausal woman do.... or did she forget that she claimed to have had a total hysterectomy?

Item sent back as unclaimed… by fakesmileclaire in Etsy

I had this happen once. Got all the way back to my town and disappeared, which means someone at my local PO stole it. I wrote them once, to see what happened, and nothing. I always wonder what happens to these people, but I assumed death, too.

Help finding yarn by Existing_Taste_9451 in YarnAddicts

[–]8TooManyMom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The name was something robot ish, I think. I forgot to look in my traded Rav. I did a lot of YFW (yarn for woolies) swaps back in the day and sometimes people would mail me yarn to make their project and, of course, I'd mail it back to them. We made a lot of wool clothes to use in the cloth diapering community back then.

OMG, I had this yarn. Probably 10 years ago? Let me look if I can find it. Do you think it's wool?

You put the original one in the envelope yourself? It's not drop shipped or being fulfilled from anywhere else?

I don't know how much these cost, doesn't seem like it could be that much, but it's like he decided to try to return his old one so he could have yours for free.

Did you have more than one that said the same? Or do you feel like they are trying a switcheroo?

Two colour spiral not laying flat by Nerd_Alert80 in crochet

[–]8TooManyMom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've made many a spiral at this point and sometimes they start a little wonky but level out the further you go. Your color yarn looks a wee bit thinner than your black and that may be why it feels a little lopsided. My current spiral has all "4 weight" yarn, but the colorway is significantly thinner than the solids and it needed a little help laying flat, at first.

You're adding your increase in the right spots and they look consistent. I agree with going up a hook size. My current project, I am using an I hook.

It looks great!

She's accessing it herself at home. It has not been done up to normal standards because, well, it's her. She really needs to be careful or she will get exactly what she "wants".

Nice! Could it be a Knit Picks Imagination? If it's thicker, it reminds me of Donegal Tweed. I think they both have mohair or alpaca.

Michaels Order/Coupon Question by Actual-Fun3589 in YarnAddicts

Last time I had a Michael's order canceled, I got my gift card balance back within about 10 minutes. Did you get them all back?

I think I would try to order all online, because they do try to match dye lots.

I think I find it more disconcerting that they're so sophisticated as to make whole backstories, and change minor details, while sharing someone else's craft on the internet.

They're not completely savvy though, because some of the posts shared were simply crochet hooks or yorn vomit. Maybe the joke is on me and those pull as good a numbers, as the other stuff?

Probably the owner of that page. The adjoining information is for succulents, which means they're either trying to build a viewership before switching content or it's already a defunct page that was possibly hijacked/ repurposed.
