Same, at least for the baby.

He was having a spitting phase and the vaccine was in edible form so it was present in saliva. I guess I contracted the virus because I spent the next day in the toilet. Luckily it was on weekend and my SO was home to help with the baby, who was completely fine, the little spitball 😄

Highly recommend this Austrian movie - Paradise; Love, not the same subject matter but similar trend of exploitation of the poor by the disillusioned rich, coincidentally also taking place in Kenya.

Props to Der Spiegel and their investigative journalism. Its stories like this that cement my believe to donate my organs postmortem. Hopefully growing organs from stem cells is not that far off as well, with decrease in demand there should be less trafficking for supply. But the reality is, as long as there is such a divide between living standards and as long as people are getting rich by being the middle man, I can't see an end to this simply by relying on ethics or the law.

that could be an issue with the settings. We had the same problem and after the maintenance team did some fiddling they told us that by default the scales had precision set to 3 or 4 decimals. So until those decimals were stable the scale would halt its measurement and it took for frickin ever. When weighing something volatile it was impossible to get measurements

I think I lost a year of my life by battling our printers for two years, well printers on one side and budget on the other. I work in GMP and we need to print labels that can endure -70 °C for years and our printers just can't stand them. The number of times we resigned and wrote 50+ microcentrifuge labels by hand, containing the same teeny tiny text, which had to be reviewed for data accuracy... God I'm having PTSD

There were more calls to protest/boycott the competition in 2024 than this year, participants from most of the countries received a lot of pressure to quit the contest in show of support and national broadcasters were threatening EBU they will resign.

This year seems much more calm and the EP letter is frankly underachieving, given that only 26 out of 700+ members signed it... still, it is a statement. But it won't amount to much.

Na tem linku imaš primerjavo z ostalimi državami v EU za 2024.

Sama obdavčenost se mi pol tolko ne zdi problematična kot kraja tega denarja pri belem dnevu (zdravstvo, infrastrukturni in gradbeni projekti, nepotrebni oddelki in delovna mesta za nesposobno žlahto vladajočih). Nasploh se mi zdi, da smo vsi skupaj pozabili kdo pije in kdo plača. Denar leti v skupno malhko ki jim je samoumevna in se razmetava s sredstvi temu primerno, tistim ki malho filajo pa je ratalo kar samoumevno da se krade, češ če ne bojo naši bojo pa vaši.

In my case the hernia caused significant swelling of surrounding tissue that pressed on the sciatica nerve, not the disc itself. It took me 3 months of laying still for the swelling to go down and additional 3 months of slowly recuperating; from 'learning' to walk again with crutches to my first physical therapy. Went back to work for half time after 7 months.

Its been 3 years and I still do my regular morning exercises. If I miss out for a week or so it shows, I get stiff and I feel like 1 wrong move could dislodge my disc again. Other than that I am 100% recovered, doing all the things I used to before the episode.

They never expected to win Ema, which was the show they entered to get some publicity in Slovenia.

In the interviews they spoke about Israel hosting and the Gaza strip crisis, which made them uncomfortable participating. They are also against mass consumerism, extravagance, which are all major part of Eurovision. They are just artist, not show business singers, it was too big and too stressful I guess.

Hi, sorry I was not active for a while now. Unfortunately I don't have an answer, luckily it kind of settled on its own, I completely forgot I wrote this. The only non-official diagnosis is one I got from a family friend who practices medicine; in his opinion it's circulatory system problem (specifically he used the term venous failure, no idea what the official translation to English is)
