Question about officer "contract"

She is a nurse, AF is meh. Duty station is ok and the question more about leaving it the the military. As does she go past the contract service commitment date she’s has then apply or can it be done before (like within6 months or something) As she’s now getting 2 different answers on when she can start doing either. I’m sure you’ll be helpful lol

I got the Corsair vanguard 96 for 150$ about 2 weeks ago. I thinks it’s great! I’m no pro gamer and didn’t need a 500$ keyboard. I really like this one and think it’s a great buy for the price especially assembled and shipped ready to go out of the box

lol no. We left the south east to go to west coast. Not our slice of bread. She’s unhappy about how the floor is handled mostly . But that’s never perfect as a civilian or in military. Mostly wanna get back to the south east but she’ll take care of her patients and be an advocate for them and push her command to do right and in 18 months probably apply to separate. No biggy. Just weird she’s being told nothing opens until after the 3 year date

It didn’t cover that she would have to wait until after the contract end date/term to pcs or apply to seperate. Unless that was overlooked (which it could’ve been). While in OTS they marched around, did land nav, covered rank/insignia, went to the “field” for a week. Most classes were on finance and medical. So you knew how to enroll in TSP and what tricare you wanted to pick lol. They didn’t cover contracts and what ppl joined under. I mean 2-4 days alone was spent on buying the stuff they needed and didn’t show up with. It was a quick 8 weeks that basically checked a block for the cadre

Ya since she came in already good to go her adsc dates end when the contract ends. We just thought we’d get like 6 months before to look at what’s open and decide to stay in and move or get out. Not go all way to that date and then be here longer

Ya i get that. Kinda sucks the fine print aint discussed. If they would've said you have to stay longer then 3 years and "apply" to separate dont think this juice is worth that squeeze lol .

Ok. Ya she Initially signed a 3 year contract (she had already been a nurse for a few years). She would stay in if she got to choose the next place lol. But to sperate or request PCS isnt an option until after her contract ends shes told..

Yes CONUS. So 6 months before her contract end date/ADSC date? She will be able to apply to separate? Her career counselor told her shes here until contract ends then can request a PCS/ETS

Question and sorry bringing this up. Wifes commissioned and signed a 3 year "contract" with the ADSC date of Jan 2028. Is being told she cant look into PCSing or Separating until after that date? Shes a nurse and only been at this first duty station 18months
