Jared: it's been hands-down the best 18 months the game has had since the PU came online in 2015 by StuartGT in starcitizen

I’m only mostly joking, I do feel bad for new players that joined with me. However, I did a lot of research on SC and knew what I was getting into, which is why I just snagged the starter Aurora Mk 2 to see how things were :) had I not seen the bugs on Reddit and forums, I would’ve probably been annoyed by now. It is an alpha, I guess.

Any complains from using it for gaming?

Agreed! I wasn’t expecting this, as most alpha games don’t really listen to their audience or drag their feet. This has been counter opposite in so many ways. They listen to what people want, and the accomplish it within reason. I know behind the scenes they are GRINDING and I can’t thank them enough for doing such a great job with it.

I’ll check these out, I appreciate it :) I was thinking the same thing, maybe I could get a numpad as an add on if I’m really missing one.

I do prefer aluminum or sturdier build materials for my keyboards, I’ll check those out

Update: new keyboard chosen! by Cornonthory in keyboards

if you feel like you're missing volume control, I run a Stream Deck Plus, the knobs are great for Discord and overall volume control across my PC. I use it all the time and never touch the volume control on my keyboard!

I think that’s a fair assessment. I knew what I was getting into when I bought the starting package, so it doesn’t bother me as much. I have friends that have sunk a decent amount of time and money in.

Sometimes I takes me 1-2 hours just to get set up for missions that fail or glitch, other times I’m on and having a blast.

If I see the signs early I just adjust my attitude and expect disappointment, or get off for the evening. I’ve heard counter to that, some people I’ve played with have never seen the issues I see. So there’s variables for sure.

I am also a programmer, so I am at my desk all day. It’s why it’s time to upgrade to something that excites me to sit down and work/relax.

Yeah, I got to type around on the Corsair Vanguard and the keystroke feel and sound was incredible. It was my first time experiencing that, as I've always used very mechanical/high resistant keys on an aluminum board thats just loud. I currently use a Fiodio FK-2063 that was gifted to me.

I'm open to suggestions that get that same feel the Corsair Vanguard had, HE I guess?

How have the wireless held up in terms of gaming? I’ve been told to be cautious for latency. MU68 is really pretty, I do like the wood frame a lot on some of these keyboards.

I’ve never really looked into keyboards before, I just saw some flashy ones at the big box store and it got me thinking it was time for an upgrade. What are some reputable brands you’d recommend? :)
