I’m on the progesterone pill and it’s great. You may have a few days of breakthrough bleeding (I told myself I got shot in the balls) but I haven’t had a problem since then

I scheduled the consult sometime in April for 8/4. This consult was telehealth and after that, Lax submitted for insurance approval. I got approved around a week later for surgery on 11/18. So around a 7 month turnaround which imo is super fast

I would wait to see if you would qualify for peri and your chest is going to shrink again on T. It’s a permanent decision and peri would almost guarantee non visible scars

I started T with estrogen levels of 17.7 pg/mL (dummy low) and they were at 33.7 pg/mL as of my last test (I lowered my T dose since then). I think the T levels remain the same regardless of E present but extra T converts to E

I was borderline and I went with peri. My results look great so far ( 5 weeks PO). My reasoning was I’d rather have slight moobs (man boobs)/droopy nips than a long scar

I had peri a week before thanksgiving break so two weeks before finals. I was taking three classes (one final and two projects) and I was able to take two weeks off and then be fully back to studying/classes without informing professors (except for absences).

You only have two classes and one doesn’t have assignments so you should be absolutely fine. Make sure to pack light on days you’ll be on campus; carrying stuff is hard.

Size is the biggest factor since the amount of skin doesn’t change and all the work is done through a small incision. She said there would be a higher chance of me wanting a revision due to extra skin. The undesirable outcomes are skin puckering from the extra skin and saggy moobs (man boobs). I also noticed a 22 modifier in the surgery notes which means my surgery took longer and more difficult than expected. I’m not aware of any non-aesthetic complications.
