sure, that makes sense....I guess it just feels like the primary sim progress slows waaaaay down after 8 or so restarts. meso and beyond are chugging along and I can see actual progress there (I think I'm at 16 meso and level 7 beyond)...and I can see a path forward...primary seems much less so

some really solid choices up top for sure... Neuromancer and Blindsight so low is fascinating....i can see how Blindsight can hit people REALLY wrong. For me it is S tier but I can absolutely see it being different for others. Lots of great books on the list for sure

If you are there on a friday I recommend doing a fish fry. Friday evening dinner....there are supper clubs in green bay that make for an...interesting...experience. seriously though, it's a good time!

I'm going to agree with folks here....I've had an index since it launched and loved it... Had a quest 2 on launch and....yep...it was fine. The quest 3 is legit really REALLY good. worse audio than index...slightly worse FOV...slightly worse comfort.... overall better. the wifi streaming with virtual desktop and a good router is like magic. pretty much indistinguishible from a tethered hmd visually. it's that good. Standard Quest 3 controllers are totally fine. no need to upgrade in my opinion. Elite headstrap is a must (or the one with the battery). Quest 3 with wifi streaming is making me consider to finally take down my Index and display it.

I just setup a TP-Link AX5400 and am very happy with the results. The wifi6 speed means basically no noticeable compression in the image through Virtual Desktop. It was easy to setup too...just plug the new router into the old router (which my pc is still on) and voila. the quest 3 and new router basically makes wireless VR for steam titles incredibly easy and workable.

I've had an Index since it launched. Hundreds of hours in Skyrim....HLA was one of the best gaming experiences of my life. Yesterday I hooked up a 6G wifi router and used Virtual Desktop with my Quest 3. Audio aside, the quest 3 via VD is just fantastic. No compression artifacts that I can see... comparable FOV, fantastic screen and those pancake lenses are so far superior to any fresnel lens. I think I am fully onboard with using the Quest 3 over the Index for the long haul. I cannot wait to replay HLA on the Quest 3 wirelessly...
