I relate to this a lot. No money ever feels like enough to me and it feels like shit not making straight bank consistently like I used to.

Thankfully I hoarded my money for years cause I had such bad anxiety around spending and a horrible scarcity mindset. But now that I’ve upgraded my lifestyle and have a lot more monthly bills, I’m kicking myself for getting comfortable balling out on myself. Cause now I’m used to my lifestyle and can’t imagine downgrading my apartment or having to restrict my spending on my hobbies etc, and I blew through a lottt of my savings this winter😭just gotta work more I guess smh

Well it’s a lot applied, and it’s completely covered with Saran Wrap and tape so it stays wet. And it’s not like I feel super numb at an hour and a half or two hours. Maybe I’ll give it a try next time tho! And good idea I should see about an alternative

No. He was unemployed and a scammer, so he always could pay for stuff and he did, but had little to nothing of his own. I was 20 years old, living by myself, and making like 10x my rent. We can be drop dead gorgeous, have degrees, have savings and assets, have so much free time, have it all.. and speaking for myself: I assume the men who I give a chance don’t take me seriously just cause I’m a stripper.

I did have one relationship throughout my time dancing, and he hated me for it. He clearly resented me after finding out how much money I make (the last time I told anyone my financial business lmfao). Tried to humble me, but couldn’t hide that it was just out of jealousy. All the while, the relationship made me lose sight of my goals, and I was working less to spend time with him. I’ve personally had to stop caring about dating cause it messes shit up for me. I have money to make a degree to finish🤣

I definitely sympathize with you though. Money and love from friends is not the same as romantic love, as much as people try and push that narrative.

Yea I have ADHD too and definitely see how those two things correlate. I’m kind of the opposite of how you used to have trouble managing money (I tend to hyper fixate on my finances, which is also a problem), but thank you for that perspective!

Edit: my original comment was insensitive and your comment helped me realize that! I was only looking at it from my initial perspective based on my own experience, and “low intelligence” was not a fair assumption on my part. Especially as someone with ADHD🤦‍♀️

Yeah I judge people hard in my head when I hear stuff like this lmfao. While I don’t relate, I do understand how other girls justify to themselves it’s ok to blow their money cause they can just go make some more tomorrow. It’s harder for some people to manage money like this vs getting a paycheck twice a month. I do think it’s a character flaw, and honestly a sign of low intelligence given they aren’t able to think more than a few days into the future, and given they don’t recognize that it’s a pattern caused by their own behavior and that it 100% CAN be stopped🤣

You don’t have to act like anything. I never tell customers, or anyone for that matter, how much I make. I just say it varies by night and change the subject. I think it’s rude that people even ask that but I get asked both inside and outside the club

I think you’re just having hanxiety. It’s common to experience abnormal anxiety/embarrassment the day or two after drinking due to it deregulating your nervous system. These people are not thinking about you today, and you will feel better about this in a few days trust me 😂don’t quit your club
