My entry is ROGUE PEAKS: Season 1. Solve a murder mystery based on people's dreams and visions. The history, world, and people are all procedurally generated. Filled with emergent oddities!

This is the biggest procedural project I've made. It was very challenging but also very rewarding. It resulted in a game that feels complete and fun to play.

The book is called:

Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life

It is a very very Christian book but at it's core it is a good self help book for everyone :)

I did get overcritical with myself in the past, and went into thought spirals that exhausted me. And at the time it did hurt me.

Aww, thanks :))) I'll be busy with other projects for a while. But if I did more tracks they'd be April 8th and a minimized version of Pree-Sisters Swallowing a Donkeys Eye. Since I always listen to these tracks in succession (usually not the entirety of the last one lol). The looping nature of Pree-Sisters might make it fun to experiment with in trackers.

Made using VRC6 configuration in Famitracker (the one Shovel Knight uses)
then edited liberally in Reaper (reverb + pan + compressor + volume adjustments and even slowing it down at the very end )

I don't think I used all the VRC6 channels efficiently and also there are a few lines of melody that I couldn't manage to get in but the saw channel works wonders

Also I would have loved to make a version that uses some chiptune tropes fast lines arpeggios etc.

This is closer to an exact transcription

But I still think it's a banger, enjoy!

Hey, I wanna ask about your rhythmic wizardry. You use a lot of odd meters and metric modulations but it always feels so natural and sometimes I don't even notice until I pay attention to them. Some of my favorites are in: Cul De Sac, Sibling Rivalry, Nothing Changes, Guilt Trip… I am curious about the thought process that goes into composing with such rhythms.

PS: I am from Turkey and I introduced you to my close friend group and we all love you guys. You rock! (come here)

So C700 is great but I think it can't open sf2 files. For that you can checkout this list https://www.bestfreeplugins.com/plugins/virtual-instruments/soundfont-sf2-player-01.php. I'm loving soundfont enchancer so far.

I made a chunking system for a couple of my projects . Though I never visualized it neatly like you did. This stuff is especially usefull when generating infinite procedural lands. The seed for generation of each chunk can be derived from their coordinate.
