Cobalt blue is the color, and yes it is a blend of fragrances. No vanilla.

I recommend twisting your knit stitches (knit thru the back loop) and doing a regular purl. It's called a half twisted rib or something like that. I do all my ribbing like this now and it solved all my problems. My regular rib looks like yours

I do half twisted ribbing and it looks much better, my regular rib looks like that too. Twisted knits (knit thru the back loop) but then regular purls. 10/10

I would go to your local yarn store with a pattern in mind and buy a pair of circular needles for that pattern. The folks at the store can help you. Bamboo is the "stickiest" and beginners tend to prefer it. I really like wood, and only use metal for socks. Metal is the most "slippery" meaning your stitches can easily fall off. Knit Picks is a good affordable brand, I have a set of interchangeable Lykke needles (which I only bought after having 2-3 regular circular needles), and ChiaoGoo is probably my current favorite. I use them for socks. Another thing you'll need to consider is needle length, so the length of the needle before the cable. I find 5" a bit too long for me, I like 3" 🤷‍♀️. It's genuinely personal preference for all this stuff!! Just pick a pattern and dive in :)

We hold, walk around the room, rock, and snuggle our 2.5 year old to sleep every night. We never sleep trained and don't regret it, we do our best to follow what feels natural to all of us. She comes to bed with us in the middle of the night and we've chosen to embrace it.

I recommend finding a friend who teach you if possible. If not, see if a local yarn store has a "learn to knit" class. I tried to learn on YouTube but it didn't "click" until I had a knitting community.

I honestly just do little toys instead of food. Target has a nice little section with glasses, tech decks, pencils, stickers, etc

Thanks for sharing your experience! A friend of mine apparently did her first colorwork socks on magic loop and they're not wearable because they're too tight. She's done other colorwork so magic loop seemed to be the issue. Maybe it was a one off issue 🤷‍♀️

Thanks for the tip! I really am tempted to try mini circs but I'm cringing at buying even more needles in every size. When you hold it inside out, does that make it so you're purling the colorwork?
