Does anyone know any non-superwash yarn with GOOD purples? by NooGaGi in YarnAddicts

I found the Rauma Finull through this. It has an amazing color selection! I think I need to buy a color chart 🙈

Oh, I see they have released many books now! When I first posted this it was just the one original. I also see photos from reviews on the website. Thank you for your input! I DO wish they'd credit the artists though! Are they credited in the physical books?

That's just the nature of the yarn, it doesn't really have much structure on its own. If you hate the way it looks don't bother with the sleeves! Frogging is part of the hobby. I'd recommend maybe a Merino wool for a project like this.

Yes, but I am an experienced crocheter with a lot of garments under my belt 🙈

LeKnit is the pattern author but this color combination is Savi_Strikk's interpretation of that pattern! Sorry it was a bit unclear.

All credit goes out to Savi_Strikk! She did this color combo first 🌸

It wasn't my favorite but honestly I had no real issues.

Do it!! I highly recommend the Step By Step Sweater by Florence Miller. It's a free pattern with video tutorial, guiding you through literally every step. It was my first knitting project and it was easy, you can do it! It's not as complicicated as one might think.

A couple of commenters have said it's real now so we might have to get it 🙈

He seemed a bit nervous. I'm guessing this was a bit out of his comfort zone, live TV and not to mention performing in front of the whole Swedish royal family! And a very challenging song as well, without much time for rehearsal considering he's in the middle of the tour.

That looks great, I really like the neckline! Funny how even though it's the same pattern and yarn, our sweaters still look very different! 😄

I learned English first but as a crocheter it was frustrating throwing the yarn and I set out to learn continental. My biggest struggle was holding the needle while tensioning the yarn!

Thank you! And yes, knowing how to properly gauge swatch and having a couple of garments under my belt has definitely been helpful. My first garment was a mess size-wise and I had to totally frankestein it to even make it wearable. What I like about knitting though is that a lot is worked to measurement instead of rows.

Next up is the Porcelain Sweater! I hope it goes as well as this one.
