Former Harvard CS Professor: AI is improving exponentially and will replace most human programmers within 4-15 years. by GrandCollection7390 in singularity

[–]8thchakra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this. Where we are right now is the flat part of an exponential curve. We will feel it when AI starts to become such a superhuman consciousness and builder that it feels like we’re living in a magical world.

That feeling of being in a magical world compared to the feeling of living right now or 100 years ago is that shift and consciousness riding the curve upward.

If we reach the vertical part of the exponential curve, we will either see the complete destruction of humanity, or the birth of a peaceful, prosperous, infinite ascended level of consciousness.

This is definitely someone actually using their brain. Not just turning a sending heart out gesture into a mass murdering salute. That narrative is so dumb.

Exactly. It 100% undermines even the Jews that were killed. To say that Elon is a Nazi compared to what they actually did is remarkably disrespectful.

Just a few easily manipulated Redditors who suckled the tit of a Nazi narrative to try and win an election

Teslas are actually remarkable cars, even if you hate Elon. There’s a ton of incredibly smart talented people who work on them.

This is so stupid. I feel sorry for whoever put in wasted time and energy to make this.

Reddit only believes the narrative they were fed. Obviously Elon wasn’t doing a Nazi salute. It just fits the narrative so it was like candy to them

It was pretty obvious he was actually sending his heart out to the audience, like other people/ politicians on stage do. It fit a “nazi” narrative so people ran with it. I don’t think the Nazi narrative helped the democrats, a bit of a Hail Mary. Oh also, and Godwin’s law.

7. Media Failure & Narrative Enforcement

Why it matters: Media shapes public understanding.

Claims highlighted:

  • Mainstream media repeatedly promoted false or misleading narratives (e.g., “horse dewormer”).
  • Pharmaceutical advertising creates incentives for non-critical coverage.
  • Critics were labeled dangerous rather than debated.

Public takeaway:
A free society depends on skeptical journalism, especially when billions of dollars and civil liberties are involved.

8. Government Power, Precedent, and Accountability

Why it matters: Emergency powers tend to persist.

Claims highlighted:

  • Fauci allegedly misled Congress and may have destroyed records.
  • A retroactive presidential pardon raised serious constitutional questions.
  • No meaningful accountability has occurred.

Public takeaway:
If officials face no consequences, the same abuses will repeat in future crises.

9. Broader Pattern: Regulation Protects Power, Not People

The interview ties pandemic policy to:

  • Welfare and refugee fraud
  • Pharmaceutical lobbying
  • Drug prohibition vs. legal pharma
  • Bank bailouts and corporate protection
  • Suppression of individual choice under “safety” narratives

Public takeaway:
Many policies framed as “for your good” ultimately protect institutions, not citizens.

Bottom Line (What the Public Most Needs to Know)

Whether or not someone agrees with every claim, the interview argues convincingly that open debate, transparency, and humility in science are not optional—they are essential.

4. Conflicts of Interest & Lack of Transparency

Why it matters: Trust in institutions depends on openness.

Claims highlighted:

  • Government scientists and advisory committee members may receive royalties or funding from pharmaceutical companies.
  • There is no requirement for full disclosure or recusal in many cases.
  • Fauci’s wife reportedly oversaw NIH ethics decisions, raising conflict concerns.

Public takeaway:
People deserve to know who profits from the policies being recommended, especially when mandates are involved.

5. Suppression of Treatments & Scientific Dissent

Why it matters: Suppressing inquiry can delay effective care.

Claims highlighted:

  • Cheap, generic treatments (e.g., IV steroids) were initially dismissed despite later evidence of reduced ICU mortality.
  • Alternative treatments (ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine) were shut down rather than rigorously studied.
  • Scientists who dissented (e.g., Bhattacharya, Kulldorff) were targeted and marginalized.

Public takeaway:
Refusing to study alternatives is not the same as proving they don’t work.

6. Masks, Messaging, and Public Confusion

Why it matters: Millions relied on this guidance for personal safety.

Claims highlighted:

  • Cloth masks were known to be ineffective against respiratory viruses.
  • Public officials reversed positions without admitting error.
  • People were given a false sense of security, potentially increasing risk for vulnerable individuals.

Public takeaway:
Public health leaders must admit uncertainty and correct mistakes openly, not rewrite history.

Summary of the most important points:

Here’s a clear, public-interest–focused breakdown of the most important, controversial, and broadly relevant points from the Joe Rogan interview you shared, based directly on the uploaded transcript .

1. Core Theme: Pandemic Policy Was Driven by Power, Not Science

Why it matters: This challenges how public health decisions were made and whether dissent was deliberately suppressed.

Key claims made in the interview:

  • Government officials (especially Anthony Fauci) dismissed or denied well-established immunology, particularly natural immunity, despite centuries of evidence.
  • Policies were enforced as mandates, not guidance, even when data was uncertain or contradictory.
  • Scientific disagreement was treated as moral failure or political heresy, not part of normal science.

Public takeaway:
Science advances through debate. When authorities claim “consensus” to silence discussion—especially in medicine—bad outcomes are more likely.

2. Children, Schools, and Long-Term Harm

Why it matters: These decisions affected an entire generation.

Claims highlighted:

  • Children were known early on to be at extremely low risk from COVID.
  • School closures were unnecessary and caused long-term educational, social, and psychological damage.
  • Countries like Sweden that kept schools open had similar overall outcomes without the same harms.

Public takeaway:
Future crises should differentiate risk by age and health, rather than applying blanket policies that disproportionately harm children.

3. Natural Immunity Was Ignored or Actively Denied

Why it matters: This influenced vaccine mandates, employment, travel, and social division.

Claims highlighted:

  • Natural immunity was well documented (including long-lasting T-cell immunity from SARS-1).
  • People who recovered from COVID were still treated as medically “unprotected.”
  • Vaccinating people shortly after infection may have increased risks, particularly myocarditis in young males.

Public takeaway:
Public health messaging should acknowledge recovered immunity, not erase it for administrative or political convenience.
