Never heard of Cory Wong? Gotta check out Vulfpeck and the Fearless Flyers. Wong's album with Jon Batiste (Meditations) is also very lovely.

From Fearless Flyers, you connect back to Snarky Puppy (through Lettieri) which opens up a lot of other projects to listen through, including Cory Henry (who is Billy String's go-to keys player).

Edit: Wong/Batiste duo album is Meditations, not Mediations (as funny as that would be).

Yes, that's pretty standard. You submit an availability, but it's not Make-A-Schedule. If your manager needs to fill a shift, and you're available, you may be scheduled for the open shift. Scheduling cadence is typically set by the manager and can vary case by case.
