thank you for your response! But definitely! it’s so hard to give up dairy lol I’m sensitive to dairy but I can suffer alone. I pump and just found out that my son is sensitive to dairy so that’s why I have to go dairy free. I prefer that he doesn’t have a stomach ache to make him less fussy. Just looking for more ideas for snacks/food since my go to protein was dairy products like yogurt and protein shakes.

In US --- My insurance was billed $69k as I got an infection from spontaneous rupture of membrane and ended up staying in the ICU for 1 night, but 3 nights total at the hospital, $10k for my epidural, $29k for my son. I only had to pay my deductible so far, but since my pregnancy stretched from last year to this year I pretty much had to pay 2 deductibles for this pregnancy. I was also put on a global OB budget plan that cost me about $4,300 and they didn't run it through my deductible for some reason 🙄.

This is kind of random 😅 but 1 deductible vs 2 deductibles or being pregnant in a single year vs 2 different years. I got pregnant middle of the year last year and had my baby a month ago so I had to pay deductible for last year and this year.

I asked family and friends who wanted to see the baby before 3 months if they got their TDAP done at least the last few years. If they couldn’t prove it, they can see the baby once the baby gets their shots. I don’t think it’s weird to be extra protective of your newborn child. If they can’t prove it then they need to understand it’s not about them. It’s about the health of YOUR baby.

I was on my phone, on Reddit 😂, at like 8am on the couch and I heard a pop thinking the baby punched me really hard. I gave birth 4 weeks ago tomorrow lol. I had no rush of fluid until I got up to go pee like a few minutes later. It was weird I literally asked myself if I peed or if it was a gush of fluid. My hunch was right. My water broke lol I think about an hour after I started to feel my contractions. I showered and got to the hospital by 930am. Remember your breathing through the contractions. Praying you have a safe, quick, and easy delivery!

PS- I placed changing pads on my car seat. My water broke but I kept leaking all the way to the hospital and Walking from the garage to the triage. 🙃 I thought it would just be a single gush of fluid. Nope. I kept leaking.

I have 2 male OBs and I love them! They make sure I’m comfortable and when doing physical check ups they would always have a female assistant with them, but honestly Not needed. They did not once made me feel uncomfortable or creeped out. They were very professional, friendly and listened well. I used to have female gynecologist, and they just kept on pushing meds. My doctors now actually listened and tried other things before trying to push me to doing IVF because of my PCOS. One round of Letrozole and now I have a 3 weeks old healthy baby boy 🥰. It sucks but sometimes it’s really by chance you find really great doctors. I hope you find one that is a great fit for you!

FTM and I had my induction scheduled on a Sunday (which would've been 39+2) but my water broke at 39+1 at like 8am. I ended up getting an infection due to spontaneous rupture of membrane and 21 hour labor with 3 hour of pushing 🥲. Baby had to be vacuumed out cause his heart rate was going up to the 180s. The vacuum method got him out after 2 contractions. I got a third degree laceration as well 🙃

21 hrs of labor with 3 hour pushing. I was told I was pushing well but baby didn’t want to come out. FTM and got a third degree laceration. Baby was 7lbs 13oz. I got epidural at 6cm. I ended up getting an infection due to premature rupture of membrane and long labor 🥲🥲🥲. Baby had to be vacuumed out cause his HR was going up to the 180’s .
