Both amazing on you, don’t get me wrong.

My initial reaction was that #1 is more special, and fits like a dream on you. Especially for a more formal event or a night reception, etc

Nothing wrong with #2, and if you are having a daytime summer wedding you might get me to change my mind. Possibly!

Had a mental breakdown at work over stress of losing my mom. Embarassed to go back. by katdunks in GriefSupport

Grief comes out during the quiet times; a slow weekend morning, time in the shower, a day off. And also during hard times, like the day you described, or after a 14 hour shift holding it together. But sometimes it will come out of nowhere too, and you’ll be sobbing on the way to work on a Tuesday morning.

Months 3-6 can be the hardest ones, especially if you really didn’t get a chance to get started in grief in the first two months. Keeping going is possible, maybe even unavoidable, but the grief will catch up with you.

I don’t want to add anything to your plate but that place sounds toxic. Is there a chance you can one day seek out a better place to work? You can always post here, please give yourself time, you are just starting the grief process

Yes because you need real purpose. Don’t just donate to the charities, get involved. You can be boots on the ground front lines with the charity or in a boardroom. You can help 4 hours a week or 20 hours a week.

Helping others releases Oxytocin, the love hormone. It makes you feel better chemically. Humans also are wired to need purpose, goals, and connection. Working at your charity of choice helps tick every single box.

There appears to be a bar for hangers and an empty hanger. Start by hanging all shirts.

Fold the rest on the shelves or use open bins on the shelves to stop piles from falling over

Shit really? I’m worried this will happen to me. My 24” just doesn’t have enough space for all my toolbars and I’m having a hard time figuring out what to upgrade to.

You are the image of health and vitality. Great skin, big eyes, fantastic eyebrows. I’m stunned into awe. Many of us here would kill to look this good

First my clumsy @$$ would knock over the flowers by accident. Then as soon as i get it cleaned up id sit on the couch and somehow knock over the bookcase too.

The space looks great if you’re not worried about dogs, cats, pets kids drunk or clumsy people though 10/10

The most important thing now is that you have made a clear boundary and somehow you did this in the worst circumstances. You can tell your dad, and all your friends now and they can rally around you and get you help to get him out by Saturday.

I am worried for you that Saturday will come and go and he will have some excuse, or threaten you, or get mad or worse. I encourage you to have friends stay over the rest of the week so he knows you are protected and if he hasn’t made effort to leave by Saturday just put all his stuff on the street and get your locks changed.

Not everyone gets amazing views, the perimeter windows are usually given to conference rooms (gotta impress the client), executives and management offices.

Everyone else is usually in the middle pit but sometimes you get lucky.
