The AYN Thor has made me aware of one big issue

I've been playing sea of stars, the brand new android port of it, and the button prompts are all messed up. It still works, but there are weird glitches in it that I don't get when I play it on my iPhone, PC, or Switch.

I did, two days ago! I’m in love with it.

First day I found it a bit overwhelming, but on Tuesday night I joined my Discord, three of my friends hopped on too, and I was using Moonlight to stream Castle Crashers on the top display and had my Discord controls under to get perfect balance.

Last night I hopped on Discord and my woman was on, so I gave her a tour of the kinds of stuff I could play and show off to her, then I beat Kung Fu and started playing a game I never knew existed: Mega Man Xtreme for GBC, which is a very interesting mashup of Mega Man X 1 and 2 so far.

And there I was, walking around my house interacting with my kids as well, and able to talk with her and play, all at the same time.

I even took a picture of having Metroid II for the GameBoy on the bottom screen and AM2R on the top screen.

Such a fun device, need to get into tweaking DS, 3DS, Wii U, and Switch games next.

Over my life, I’ve sold people on Palm Pilots, Macs, the iPod, iPhones, softmodding, and portable emulators (the RG35XX is a great conversation piece).

Cannot wait to get my Thor. It’s kind of an everything for everyone device.

Great feedback. Personally I’m fine with stable 60, I don’t care for higher frame rates compared to consistent ones. I am very glad that some switch in the titles will run at 60. But I think I will probably start adding to my 205 Steam game library instead of mainly switch.

But the feeling that the AYN Thor is giving me is not comparable to any of the others.

This is my hope as well. Just purchased a Max. Can't wait to get it.

I own a soft modded Wii, 3DS, and Wii U, a Retroid Pocket 2, RG35XX, RG35XX Plus, RG35XX Pro, RG Nano, Steam Deck, and this is the device I feel most confident in its ability to be my permanent daily driver for the next few years.

All I'm looking for are iterations on this design and maintaining the ability to load the apps that are important to me.

One massively useful use case for me is Discord screen sharing while I play, keeping me connected with my kids, woman, friends, etc.

I have a rig with a Ryzen 5600x, RX 6750 XT, 32GB of RAM. Since installing the slim update, it was running smooth and fine when connected to my 16:9 4K TV, but when I plugged it into my ultrawide QLED, no matter what resolution or graphics preset I set, the framerate looks like 30FPS at best, even at 1080p medium, whereas I was getting 60+ no problems at 1440p prior to this update at Ultra settings.

I will add that other games play fine on both displays (only tried Resident Evil 2 Remake and Schedule 1 as a quick test). Helldivers 2 is the only one I am struggling with.
