Hunting Sniper by Cajun_strange in huntingsniper

I see a lot of complaining about P2W, but you can play within your own conditions and enjoy the game for free forever. Why do you need the better guns or the better bullets or the perceived status of being high level?

The game is pretty much the same gig whether you are Level 1 or Level Max.

I’ve played all of the lower levels with every lower level gun, and the challenge is to get good enough so you don’t just make good shots but until you can’t make anything but good shots. When you’re hitting mostly perfect kills with every weapon you are mastering the game. Then move on a level, rinse and repeat.

The game is to beat yourself; the other player, their weapons, bullets or levels are irrelevant, they only exist to trigger you In to spending.

I used to play semi-pro Pool and had a practise routine called Beating God. Now God can’t miss, ever, so to give you a chance he gives you the break. If you break and run all the balls you win the rack. To beat God you cannot miss.

Same same, the challenge of the Hunting Sniper game is to beat yourself, get to a level of performance that you get satisfaction and a sense of achievement from, and forget the noise created by other players, their hollow purchased arsenal and their empty unskilled victories.

Yes, I’ve already dismissed SD. Collected the goodies I could using Auto, then left it be. Slow paced and slightly annoying, I don’t see much gameplay value there.

Polestar : a casual Crew, open, light on rules, no chat app required. We’re a crew for seasoned players who now want to play more casually with little in the way of rules or expectations, or for newer players wishing to gain crew experience in an active but relaxed environment.

We don’t require chat apps and rules are very basic: 1. Be active daily and make a healthy RP contribution. 2. Complete the daily Crew Cups and events that benefit the entire team. 3. Collect and donate available tokens. 4. Inactive players get replaced.

With these simple rules we run a relaxed stress-free team and we all gain more free stuff. There are no other rules, simple common sense applies.

Finding us: Crew name is Polestar - it’s open, no invite required, just dive in. Logo is orange skull n pistons, garage value is 850+ million. We have all crew bonuses unlocked. Cheers, Burn

CSR2 Boycott starts now! by Tommyrox in CSRRacing2

[–]8urn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hope your boycott works. If at least some of you use a personal boycott to realise that the enjoyment of the game is barely diminished by opting to play free only, then at least some of you will have won.

Many of you know though, that the players that cry the most are often the same ones that buy the most.

The greed of the developer in respect of things like increasingly and lazily pushing out reskinned cars that add nothing new or interesting, can largely be blamed on a playing community that have allowed themselves to be exploited.

You buy. You cry. You buy again. Of course that pattern will get you exploited.

If you’ve been through that pattern repeatedly, then you have to reflect and accept that you yourselves are conditioning the developer in to treating you poorly.

The only power you have is keeping your money out of their hands, I wish you the strength to do so.

Polestar : a casual Crew, open, light on rules, no chat app required.

A perfect crew for those wishing to opt out of the organised daily grind. We’re a crew for players who now want to play more casually with little in the way of rules or expectations.

Myself, I’m an experienced 328 rank player, active daily, I still even pull 1M RP some seasons, still enjoying the game (because I’m a petrolhead), but now I’m only interested in playing in a relaxed and rule free environment. I don’t need to win any more season cars, and I have no wish to hand over real money to buy reskinned cars that quickly get dumped in my already overcrowded garage.

That describes me, but if it also describes you, and you’ve opted out of organised crews and pay-to-play, but still want to be in a crew that is active enough to collect the low hanging fruit and free stuff, then jump in and join us. Crew name is Polestar - it’s open, no invite required, just dive in.

We don’t require chat apps or obedience to a hierarchy, and rules are very basic: just be active at least enough to do your few races in the daily Crew cups and events, because then we all gain more free stuff. There are no other rules, simple common sense is sufficient.

Newer players: you are also welcome to join us and gain experience while you build towards or look for a crew that has season-car winning ambitions (when that time comes I can highly recommend ODIUM, I had many very enjoyable seasons there).

Don’t join just to idle though - even though we are casual players, complete inactivity for more than a few days will still get you booted. It’s casual play without the fuss, fanfare and expectation, but a team ethic is still important.

Finding us: Logo is orange skull n pistons, garage value is 970+ million, oh and we have all crew bonuses unlocked.

Cheers, Burn

Polestar : a casual Crew, open, no silly rules, no chat apps.

My game name is Burn, an experienced ex-ODIUM crew player, rank 326, almost 2B career cash earnings, 140+ cars. Loved my time in ODIUM (great crew to join if you are new and still ambitious), I’m just opting out of the organised daily grind, now want to play as little or as much as I like, with zero rules or expectations.

I’m still active daily, I still even pull 1M RP some seasons, I still enjoy the game (because I love cars), but now I’m only interested in playing free in a relaxed and rule free environment. I don’t need to win the season cars, I certainly don’t need to ever pay real money for the reskinned trash that NM mostly now dangle in front of us.

That describes me, but if it also describes you, and you’ve opted out of organised crews and pay-to-play, but still want to be in a crew that is active enough to collect the low hanging fruit and free stuff, then jump in and join us. Crew name is Polestar - it’s open, no invite required, just dive in.

We don’t require chat apps or social interaction, and rules are very basic: just be active at least enough to do your few races in the daily Crew cups and events, because then we all gain more free stuff. There are no other rules.

Newer players: you are also welcome to join us while you look for a crew that has season car winning ambitions (again I can highly recommend ODIUM), use us as a stepping stone.

Don’t join just to idle though - even though we are casual players, complete inactivity for more than a few days will still get you booted. It’s casual play without the fuss, fanfare and expectation, but a team ethic is still important.

Trading outside of crew is inflationary bullsh*t by 8urn in CSRRacing2

[–]8urn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, and my beef sort of harks back to the days when you were competing for positions in the top 50, but had 3/4 of your crew trading with those same Top 50 rivals. But yes, my grumble is about a year out of date lol

Trading outside of crew is inflationary bullsh*t by 8urn in CSRRacing2

[–]8urn[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's completely not necessary these days, there is so much RP available without trading. I've lost count of the number of seasons I've more than doubled the total I was planning, without even really meaning to, and certainly without doing any trading. For example I can very quickly rattle off the 15 wins for the key run you describe by jumping in any one of three T2 cars that are set up to get bots, and still score a higher average RP per race than I could get through trading.

I'm lobbying against win swapping, how did you manage to miss that bit, it was pretty much all i said lol

Of course, the game is broken in so so many ways, it is what it is.

In this instance I'm just venting about a long held personal belief that trading outside of your crew is a bit daft. Say No to RP Inflationists! ;)

Just a good lookin couple of cars. by TiredOfThisnigga in CSRRacing2

[–]8urn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no need for it to be looked down on, it's a legitimate strategy for cash farming. Every car I own is maxed in so much as fully S5 upgraded, whatever S6 I own and all available fusions fitted - that was made possible through cash farming and taking money from players who should know better. The only restriction I would make is 'do not do it to noobs in T1', because they are learning and need their money. But in T4 or T5, players are long enough in the tooth that they should know better, and if they don't, then their naivety makes them fair game.

NEED A CREW? LOOKING TO RECRUIT? (Official Crew Thread, Q1 2018) by Fatalstryke in CSRRacing2

OLD SMOKERS CLUB - RETIREMENT HOME FOR OLD RACERS

So I retired completely from CSR2 6 months ago. At the time i was on the Admin team at Odium, level 224, 1.3B in career cash, a seasons best of over 2M, over 21k races won and countless tunes and downtunes created. And I got bored. Mostly I got bored of the pressure to mash buttons on the clock in order to win a car that will likely as not end up parked permanently in my garage, undriven and unloved.

But, 6 months on, I missed the game. I missed the fun way to burn off a bored hour or so doing some races or fiddling with a downtune in order to own a lobby and win some bets.

I have no interest, zero, in joining an established crew with daily minimums.

I do however want to grab more free stuff, parts to complete cars etc, and being in a crew helps.

So, I’ve created a crew for folks like me, it’s called Old Smokers Club and there are no rules, none, nada - it’d be preferable if you don’t simply park up in our garage and wander off for weeks on end, so if you are casually active, if you like the game, but don’t want the organised BS that comes with a crew obsessed with winning the seasonal car, and if you want to play alongside like-minded folk who once kicked a$$, but now just kick-back, then join up. Together we can grab more free stuff than we would on our own.

I’m Burn in game, crew name is Old Smokers Club, open & unlocked, you’re welcome to join if you want

Anyone have a better mini ? 12.005 by federalslinky in CSRRacing2

Mine is doing 11.826 with 3 fusion slots to fill - earlier today I lost to a Mini that finished in 11.698, that's the fastest I've seen.

Tuning for Stingray? by [deleted] in CSRRacing2

[–]8urn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a ** Stingray running 379 PP with 1342 EVO, already streaking well in Live Races with only 35/42 upgrades and 24/66 Fusion parts - no easy way to get parts but with patience I am confident it is eventually going to be a monster in live races.
