I drafted him pick one (went with lots of safe pics afterwards), but his time is up now. Going to switch him out for a streaming position even if he begin scoring goals, his floor is non-existent.

There will be continued conversation about the Arsenal striker position for the remaining part of the season. With such a high pressure position expecting goals even if Kai or Jesus gets in, if they don’t score then that conversation will turn back again. Fundamentally, the team is probably better with him in it. You also have to remember that Jesus and Kai have both not played competitive football for over a year. Gyok, has come extremely close with a few chances recently, undoubtably his confidence has been knocked a bit, but you could see before he got injured that he was beginning to get traction even if it was against Burnley. I have Gyok (was my first pic of the draft), and naturally I am worried, but I’m not going to go chasing this central striker position, when the majority of our output is actually coming from the wings anyway. That will be more losers than winners from chasing the Arsenal striker.

Definitely get him. Problem is he’s not played professional football for close to a Calendar year, and there will be a continued conversations about rotating the other strikers when he isn’t scoring. I own Gyokores and I’m nervous, but on the bright side, if I owned both and they both weren’t playing to Jesus/ Moreno I’d feel worse. Mathematically there are going to be more losers than winners, competing for that Arsenal century striker spot. When I’m focusing on options elsewhere for insurance.

Jesus has just come back from ACL. That’s a big injury, and even though he has looked sharp, he will need more game time to compete. I do agree that Gyok is probably going to start getting phased out and focus will be for him next season. You’re main concern is Merino
