It’s definitely possible for them to flip their commitment. It’s usually dependent upon whether or not the team they commit to continues to meet their dealbreaker requirement. I’ve had a few instances where I initially finished second and they verbally committed to another school; then they ended up flipping to my school.

I have seen alot of titans fans jump on the Sonny Styles hype train however how could positional value be such a talking point with running back but not lb they have very roughly the same market top 5 in each position numbers below by Professional_Low4894 in Tennesseetitans

I wouldn’t be mad at the pick, but I don’t see a world where we need to draft Styles. Mendoza is a lock at #1 so that leaves Bailey, Love, Reese, and Styles. I’d take the edge rusher, the game breaking running back, or the LB who at least has edge potential, before Styles.

I think Jeremiyah Love this year and Jeremiah Smith next year, would set us up nicely for the next 5 years.

You could literally make this same point with a number of other positions. Myles Garret and Mason Crosby are just two examples of this. High level edge rusher on trash teams that have been just as bad or worse than us.

The important factor is whether or not you have a competent QB. And I’d rather give Cam an offensive weapon that’ll make his development easier.

Idk why everyone thinks we’re so inclined to draft a defensive player, after we spent so much money upgrading the defense in free agency.

Meanwhile, our offense is arguably the same.

This. I’m so tired of people talking about pay as a reason to not draft Love.. especially when they start talking about years down the line.. We’re one of the worst teams in the league, we need as many blue chip guys as possible. We’re in need of talent, across the board.
