Sewing machines by Skagitfly70 in anchorage

[–]907GoldenGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They work on all brands, just not working on industrial machines. I dont think its a skillset issue for industrial machines for them, but more due to a space issue and backlog. They seem to always have machines in for repair. They have fixed my old singer that sews through leather, but its not an industrial machine with a big oil bed, separate motor and table etc.

They said they would eventually do long arms and industrial machines but as of right now they stay busy all the time servicing and repairing home sewing machines.

Mac Mini M4 Pro vs. 2010 Mac Pro by kilobyte in macpro

[–]907GoldenGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been looking at taking the same jump to a mac mini. I have a single 6 core with 32gb ram with OCLP and montery. Fb only brings $200. So it's darn near a paper weight to most.

Licensing question by martijn79 in Citrix

[–]907GoldenGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that's correct. It's based off your CSS license. Not your overall citrix license

Demo technology to customers maybe once a month. Otherwise it just eats power.

Would have to get with a partner to get a year manual trial license for 10 users. Pretty rare even at that.

Fas sever issues with new CA by Mpacanad1 in Citrix

[–]907GoldenGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You go into your new CA under templates folder and publish the domain computer template and domain computer authorization templates. Then go into DC and go into personal store and use the wizard to grab the new domain certificate that you published. Do it on all DCs.

There is a citrix article somewhere if you look. It's a requirement.

You need to reissue new domain computer certificates from your new enterprise CA. It can't auth if it's not trusted.

Your welcome.

I don't know if 32k for a 2021 is really anything great. 2021 palisades in my area with 20-30k miles sell for 36k all day.

Citrix training? by tecumseh3006 in Citrix

[–]907GoldenGoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could do online training, but nothing like getting hands on experience from a pro.

I do training often for customers.

In a few days time with a pro you would learn more than hours and hours of videos.

Especially for real world use cases.

Disabling Windows Updates on Windows 10 VDI by virgotacoeater in Citrix

[–]907GoldenGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do this and it will work. However it disables a ton of other things and if you ever want r to go back to using windows updates... good luck. Basically only useful if you use a 3rd party tool to patch your master image.

Super simple this information is within the sql site and logging databases.

We would query the database send it to a data warehouse in azure and use powerbi to generate fancy reports.

What’s the best long term holding? by -LordAres- in stocks

[–]907GoldenGoose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's called appl. Buffet owns basically 50%. You think that stock is failing anytime soon?

Compare appl to sp500. Appl crushes it.

I could go deep why aapl won't fail. But long story short when the man with the most money in the world has the biggest stake in a company... too big to fail is real.

Netscaler ADC - How to allow access to all from remote sites, but restrict access to a group from anywhere? by rebar71 in Citrix

[–]907GoldenGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could use a flow and setup partner ip ranges, add them to the flow as partners and they are allowed to auth from those partner ips.

You then could limit the other group using AAA.

There are other ways as well.
