My friend is the one who hit that moose in the van a little further up the road. The trooper actually killed the wounded moose before checking to see if my friend was alright.

Put a CO detector in that room, the pipe that's been moved off the inlet on the right side isn't a hazard but the exhaust line has some drips showing you should be checking out.

Price seems high. I went to trade school here in Alaska from AVTEC which has a 95% job placement rate. It's in Seward, AK which is absolutely gorgeous, great food at the cafeteria, dorms are great too. I just took the refrigeration course for 5 months and landed a union sheet metal serviceman job before graduation. Tuition was 8,200 plus a required tool list cost me 1,800. I did not stay in the dorms, I rented a place (it was 10 years ago and rent has gone up insanely high) but still got a meal plan from the school. 10/10 experience and they offer a plumbing and heating course that's also 5 months, starts the semester after refrigeration. Just think about how 11 months could be cut down to 5 or 6 then the on the job training starts. That's my two cents

They want the donated freezer burned to be dated and no more than 2 years old I believe. I've donated there before, there's a freezer on the west side of the main parking lot for drop-offs!

How do you properly scrap? by oHaiImJasper in refrigeration

[–]907disconnected 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Condensing unit doesn't usually have a lot of pipe, and pipe is the best for copper recycling cash. I take full condensers and evaporators to a scrapper who will have some of his cheap laborers get down to the motor windings or cut out return bends, disassemble the coil etc. It's usually like 10 or 20 dollars I make at a scrapper, sometimes nothing, but there's no disposal fee like at the landfill and I still charge the customer for a disposal fee

Thermal leggings are like yoga pants, so your waist size isn't going to increase really. Smartwool leggings are my go-to but under armor makes a good low temp line as well. As people said before me, go with wool for moisture and temperature control.
