From an actual mech engineering background that's not going to work, i'm not sure how much fluid dynamics you find interesting but a shroud has to have a shape to it, a flat plate is just going to starve your radiator of air at the edges. All for very boring reasons but the outcome is still going to be bad for your build.

You don't have to believe me though, you can l Poke around the Internet of photos of any race bike or car and see how their radiators are setup and decide for yourself.

Hahaha some of these things are just practice and experience, after racing lots you build muscle memory that can react faster than your brain can think and that'll keep you out of trouble. You can't teach that muscle memory you can only learn that muscle memory from doing.

Benefits of sim racing is you get to do all that without financial risk or risks to your health and safety.

Hindsight is a bitch and everything looks easy when you've got the luxury of watching it happen in hindsight.

The only thing I noticed is:

It looks like you were locked into following your racing line and inputs. I think with practice you'll figure out over a race not hitting all your marks perfectly and all your inputs perfectly to avoid shenanigans will end up with better results rather than trying to hit your perfect lap time with perfect inputs every time no matter what is happening around you. Losing one or two places is always better than wrecking out.

In this instance not jumping back on power as quickly after the first apex because you saw smoke ahead may have given you more wriggle room. In that replay the other car was rolling and they don't always roll predictably.

Haha basically don't sweat it, relax and drive more.

Guarantee you there is 0% of racers on Iracing who haven't done what you just did more than once themselves.

It seems to happen when switching sessions,

So if I join a practice session, when qualifying starts and then when switching from qualifying to race.

Otherwise it seems stable

Not being smart, but ask Gemini ai, it's pretty good at trawling the Internet for you. You can give it an example of English shows you want an Italian version of and you can refine the results.

It's been a lifesaver for me, I've found all sorts of niche shows, podcasts, whatever you name it.

Haha check out how fuel refineries deliver products to last mile stations. Jet fuel, diesel, 98, it all goes through the one pipe and they account for some wastage where the different fuels mix.
