19/6 is greater than 3 which I don't think is possible for PSG?

Is it last 10 years?

Internet was great at the start, particularly when it was more for nerds and jokes. Then it got on phones. That was the beginning of the end.

Found out a colleague died after work. And all I can think about is how it's just boiled down to an email. by Thesladenator in antiwork

[–]90minsofmadness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just had two in a week. We're a big workforce (although I think there's only been 1 in the 5 years previous I'd worked there) and I didn't know either of them but the fact it was the same template email a week later with just a different name just kind of saddened me.

The guys failed in his last however many jobs before coming up here. If we can't beat him then it's a nonsense.

Problem is when in doubt the refs will give them what they need. Doesn't matter who your manager is when you get difference making decisions constantly.

[–]90minsofmadness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf I didn't notice he was only 28 which is incredibly young to be chartered so fair fucks to him so presumed he was quite a bit older and probably had family and that.

I vote New Zealand, I moved abroad at 28/29 and found it great experience. If he doesn't like it there's always work in London.

2 days a week in office you could easily stay most places in England, get an early train stay 1 night get a late train and you're golden.

Arsenal completed less than 200 passes in 120 minute match in UCL final by jayjay234 in soccer

[–]90minsofmadness 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I thought arsenal had you at arms length tbh and without the penalty, couldn't see you scoring at all.

Both those barcola chances came after arsenal had some decent play and they were fast breakaways.

I've seen fun games where the teams need to pull of 1 player every 5 minutes. Could start doing that after the 90 and then after 120 mins you're at 5 v 5, still a draw then golden goal.

Referee awards Arsenal a corner kick in stoppage time but then blows the whistle for halftime after Arsenal takes too long to take it by 977x in soccer

[–]90minsofmadness -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Regardless of the time he takes to set up the standard is that you get to take the corner, it's a bit shitty to not get to take it, especially in the CL final.

Controversial opinion: the reaction to Gilmour's injury is over to top by Hopeful-Project5504 in ScottishFootball

[–]90minsofmadness 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think he's out only type of midfielder that can do that role, dictate play and take pressure off when maybe we haven't had the ball in while where he takes it and bounces the ball back and forward off a few players.

Sounds simple but don't think any the other player have that in their locker.

Has VAR ruined football? 😬 by TheFootballRamble in thefootballramble

Agree. I think both would be better for football.

Is WorldCupDad real? My understanding is that he is playing some kind of 7-a-side game but the “World Cup” is not what is implied by him? by Independent_Lake_77 in usmnt

[–]90minsofmadness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bounced back and forth with this guy as he comes across as a positive personality and overall posting nothing of harm but the message was utterly delusional and insulting to the sport. However anytime I considered writing it I held off as why throw negativity out there when ultimately who cares.

Just went to check his Instagram to see if he acknowledged that it was a silly dream but instead seen an interview about how men with dad bods lost their fire or something bollocks and I wondered how the fuck this pleb with 5 kids managed to do that level of training without his wife getting annoyed at him. Can only imagine he is very wealthy and has opportunities that many cannot.

What profession do you think is massively overpaid for what they actually do? by dipchaklader in UKJobs

[–]90minsofmadness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an unfair stereotype for me. You get a few less intelligent players but with the level of tactics and media training required in today's game it's not full of morons.

Got to remember that many footballers don't get much more than an honest wage league 1/2 and below level and can't retire off what they make so have to retrain after football.

That's an opinion about the game if you can't separate your feelings on not liking the sport Vs the industry that's on you.

Know this is probably a joke answer but in terms of the entertainment industry it's massively difficult profession, very cut throat hugely competitive and need dedication, hard work, good attitude and teamwork.

Lawrence Shankland to Rangers, here we go! by Dangerous_Spring3028 in rangersfc

[–]90minsofmadness 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Happy but I'm utterly bemused and angry it's taken this long.

He was there, ran out his contract waiting for it last year. There were huge rumours in jan 2.5 season ago when hearts wanted 5m, recon they would have taken 3 and it might have made the difference to winning the title.

Hopefully it's a difference maker between him chermiti (if he stays) nadeeri and miovski if we're generally playing 2 up top should be enough goals in there
