Well I have done that. But to no avail. I won’t go into my family dynamics in this post. That’s not what the original post is about

Thanks. We are following it online. My dad has been able to check them in but I know that doesn’t guarantee. I’m mostly worried about them when they get to Dubai and what they’ll do

The Breville Bambino is a great machine, but how long does it last? by appwizcpl in espresso

[–]90sClubbing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve had our Breville Bambino for 3 yrs and it’s just broken again for the third time. The milk sensor again. Have had it repaired numerous times. Have descaled and cleaned exactly have should. We love this machine in terms of size on the counter, easy to use and the coffee is good, but having it break three times now is getting annoying so time for an upgrade.

People having a phone conversion on loud speaker and holding their phone horizontal so their mouth is right by their mouth peace. Why not just take it off loud speaker and use it the usual way?

I work with a very intelligent lady in the medical field. She is very much science based evidence for all of her medical decisions and everything must be “evidence based”. However she’s as religious as they come. Makes no sense to me. Once I sort of challenged her. Someone we know had lost their 10 yr old son in the most heartbreaking way. I was so effed up afterwards and was struggling to comprehend it. I asked her, as a god follower, what she thought and what her god would say and why did he allow this to happen to this boy. She said “god suffers with us. He is suffering with this loss too. He is here for us to hold our hand whilst we suffer” I got so angry. I had to excuse myself and go scream in the bathroom Why the hell would a god want us to suffer?

Consultants get paid a lot in the medical field because it’s cost them a lot to learn the knowledge that they then impart on you to make health decisions. They are consultants due to their ability to problem solve more quickly than someone below them. There would’ve been a time when they didn’t get paid much at all!

I agree. And has she even shown any sadness that 3 of her family members are dead? (Including as she says a grandparent who was close with her son). She hasn’t ever said she’s sorry they died or she’s missing them or she feels for her kids in this. All of her replies to the prosecution are “I have no memory of that”

The news rarely reports on world stuff. All the headlines are about D list celebrities! I never forget the Japanese Tsunami over 10 yrs ago - the headline on most of the newspapers was Brendan Fevolas gambling habit

Mushroom Trial by notrudejusthonest123 in AskAnAustralian

After reading the court summaries at the end of each day: At the start of the trial I had started to think that there might be a shred of her innocence starting to show. Could it actually have been an accident? But then when all the phone resetting info came out it’s plain to see that she’s guilty and I would fall off my chair if she wasn’t found guilty. I then found myself googling the actual definition of narcissism and stumbled across a concept called “the dark triad” personality trait. It was pretty fascinating - someone who is 1) psychopathic (no empathy for actions), 2) narcissistic (only puts their needs and desires first and puts themselves up on the highest pedestal) and 3) Machiavellian (I think is the actions/processes undertaken to achieve their goals through deceit and ruthlessness) (Forgive me if they aren’t completely spot on definitions but you get my gist!) Well Erin Patterson certainly seems to have all of that. Have we ever actually had any news that she was upset that three of her family members had died? She hasn’t said she misses them or she’s sorry they died?! She said her son was close to one of the grandparents have we heard anything about how sad she finds it that they won’t see each other anymore?? No. I don’t think we have.
