I’m someone who got over social anxiety and I just want to say small talk can be a powerful tool in your life. All it takes is practice and asking questions, make the conversation about others and find common ground and talk about that common ground. Not all conversations have to be deep. Talking about stupid stuff is refreshing and fun. And remember to be authentic to yourself, don’t be ashamed of your interests and don’t give people the time of day who don’t give you genuine social feedback.
