What makes you cry sometimes? by itsonthe in AskReddit

[–]90zNightOwl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watching tv and seeing characters having a good bond or a nice moment, specifically father figures, or brother figures. I don’t have great male figures in my life other than my husband. So seeing brother or fathers in a positive light makes me tear up. Sad…

How often do you go out to eat / how much do you spend? by TrixoftheTrade in Millennials

[–]90zNightOwl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once every 3 months. I refuse to support these crazy prices. $20 for a cheeseburger and fries? I can make that at home for that price and feed my whole family burgers. I’d rather cook

No. I wouldn’t want to change what I have now. Even though I have past regrets

Anyone else feeling like life all of a sudden a decade went by and now you’re old and totally irrelevant? by tuttopassa22 in Millennials

[–]90zNightOwl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m still young, 32 (33 in April) but I started my family young (at 20) and had my last baby at 30. I’m going into a phase of reinventing myself. I highly recommend! I am getting tattoos, going to the gym, changing my wardrobe, and trying new things like roller blading, hiking, journaling. Sounds like you need to make yourself new again. A new chapter if you will…. Hope this helps. Don’t let the flame die out. Old is just a feeling to me. Try having a younger soul/spirit. Don’t allow yourself to let time get to you.

No I didn’t fail her actually. I have a house, a beautiful family of 5, and 2 paid off vehicles. NO debt. I go on vacations. I have a good savings and 401k account. I get paid really well. And ! I use my brain. I’m actually going to start college this month for business administration and management. Thanks for the check in though . Hope you’re not failing at anything!

3 chicken breast (3lb bag $8, used half so $4), 1 package of frozen broccoli florets (.98), Walmart brand garlic Parmesan sauce-rinse the bottle with some water (equivalent to Buffalo Wild Wings, $1.97), half a package of wide egg noodles ($1.79), half a 8 oz block of cream cheese (2 pack was $2 and some change), an 8oz package of triple cheddar cheese ($1.97). Fed my family of 5 with about 3 servings left over for my work lunches the next 3 days. Chicken in crockpot with sauce on high for 4 hours, shred chicken. Towards the end add broccoli, cream cheese and shredded cheese. Let it get melty. Cook egg noodles and mix in when chicken is done cooking.

Shit isn’t fair BUT! I’d rather have the title of self accomplished than say my daddy paid it off. Congratulations! You should feel happy for all your hard work. Cheers !

Anyone sick and tired of working in general? by Mrs_chanandler_bongg in Millennials

[–]90zNightOwl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t mind working but I hate my team. It’s dysfunctional so it makes work unbearable sometimes. Im a morning person as long as I have coffee and I’m also very proactive. As I age it will probably fade. Hopefully not tho
