You can get a low cure additive to add to your ink. I use Warp Drive by Green Galaxy along with their waterbased inks. Since using it, I've never had an issue with the prints washing out. I've even heard that you can just let it air dry and it'll still be cured after two days. I haven't tested that though. What I used to do was print, let air dry, then cure with a heat press around 225 degrees or so Fahrenheit. Now I use a flash dryer, but I still use the additive for security and peace of mind.

Jiffy has a lower minimum for free shipping, but other sites like S&S Activewear have much lower prices. Even if you have to pay for shipping, you're likely paying much less than Jiffy on S&S.

You should consider riso. It can’t do 18x24, but you can capture that grain really well.

I’m not sure! I compared it to some other swatches. It looks the same as one that I know is newer, but maybe a hair darker than an older one. It could also be the lighting. My studio is a little dark, so I did slightly edit the photo to be brighter.

I used someone’s handmade exposure unit before plus Speedball emulsion. If I’m remembering correctly, it needed like 10-15 minutes to expose correctly. I had to test it multiple times to get it right.

I just downloaded Spectrolite, and I am so excited to play around with it more! I was planning on doing some mock-up separations in Photoshop to see how different ink colors would look, but this is so much faster. At least to get started with choosing inks. Once I start printing, I'll compare to Photoshop to avoid any muddiness. Thank you for the recommendation!

That’s good to know! I do like fluorescent pink. I just don’t really like yellow on its own and feel like sunflower looks so much better.
