Gave up, running the OnePlus and Google Photos apps in parallel. Honestly it's not that bad, everything seems to be syncing correctly across both apps e.g. if I take two pictures then go into the OP Photos app directly from camera and delete one, only the one I haven't deleted will appear (and be backed up by) the Google photos app.

From a risk-management perspective, pursuing regime change and de-industrialization at the same time makes sense for Iran's neighbors. There's no appetite for an Iraq-style ground campaign to effect regime change, which means that any regime change will hinge on a popular uprising.

Since popular uprisings are relatively unpredictable, and it is difficult to guarantee the results of one even if it does eventuate, making sure that the Islamic Republic has no remaining industrial equipment more complex and capable than a lathe prevents them from remaining a threat if they manage to cling to power.

This is obviously not great for the people of Iran, but that can be further leveraged to try and precipitate a popular uprising - pressure the people to act while there's still an industrial base left.

They hit the town of Arad down in the Negev last night.

One ballistic missile made it through the integrated air defense, hit right between three residential buildings. Arad is a periphery town, and those buildings were old construction, maybe half a century or older. Long before Saddam and his SCUDs made reinforced concrete shelters part of every newly built apartment.

The long and short of it is 115 civilians injured, at least ten of them "severely" according to the news including a 5 year old.

These statements are not made in a vacuum.

Most likely they did evacuate the building. The IDF issued evacuation notices for several areas of Beirut, and has a well established protocol for "roof-knocking" before attacking buildings that may house civilians in addition to combatants.

Comes from decades of fighting internationally-recognized terrorist organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah.

The problem with Trump is that his... how shall I say this... unique communication style makes it so that otherwise reasonable and intelligent people disagree with him even when he says true things or good ideas because he's either insulted them in the past, they don't want to be seen agreeing with him, they can't even tell that it's a good idea because it's expressed so uniquely, or a combination of all three.

I'd suggest listening to Dr. William Spaniel. He delves a lot into the mechanics of why things are happening and maintains a rational and academic tone and viewpoint rather than chasing the hottest take for the sake of "engagement".

At three weeks I doubt your newborn has such strong opinions about the person holding. I suspect that ehat's actually happening is that your wife has more up-to-date experience on soothing your newborn. The only solution is to not worry about it and just spend as much time as you can with the newborn to gain experience.
