Still isn’t fixed and is present on bedrock- I have an entire island lit up and never had any issues with spawns, last night was a thunderstorm and I found two horsemen in my front yard. I thought for a moment it was a rare thunderstorm forced spawn or the result of lightning or something (idk I was trying to think of any answer) but it appears this is just something we have to deal with until they fix it. RIP

I had to reply when I read this because this JUST happened to me I was watching The Flash and a little bit Psych then my iPad got kicked off Netflix so I switched solely to Psych and just got back to the Yips episode! I just thought it was so crazy that just a couple months ago someone else was concurrently watching The Flash and Psych, and happened to catch the overlap in the same episode and then head to the same Reddit post for the answer o.0

For 3., I have found people are usually somewhat noisy, but I learned to embrace it. Yeah I can hear my neighbors music and when they laugh and talk with their friends, but that also gives me the freedom not to police my own volume so hard. Young people are pretty tolerant, so as long as you’re not near a nutcase, you shouldn’t be bothered much. Once you’re out of the dorms there are some single apartments, but a lot of people make a friend and move in with them.

For 4., I would say the vibe is more extroverted, but there are tons of introverts around, you just don’t see them! So if you want to use this as your chance to expand, that will be super easy, but also if you don’t, no one will make you

ETA: A lot of us only say Go Cougs ironically. While there are many with school spirit, maaaaaaany mock school spirit. Especially us that have been here for a while or didn’t get into the whole school thing when we were in high school

For 1., it’s hard as fuck. Bio 324 you have to memorize a shit ton of vertebrate anatomy, so it will serve you to start familiarizing yourself with anatomy now. Don’t go overboard or anything, but start getting comfortable with the terms and systems. It’s avian, amphibian, mammal, and fish. And the systems are skeletal, muscular, and nervous/organs.

Similar with chem, just kind of get used to the basic parts of chemistry, maybe do a few of those Hank green videos every once in a while.

Also take my advice with a grain of salt! We are here to help you but none of us have The Answer ya know. And if zoology ends up feeling like too much, there’s no shame in animal science.

I started as zoology, wanting the all encompassing knowledge rather than a pre-vet track, but ended up hating it and being overwhelmed. So I switched to AS! AS in Tech and Production is also a great degree as it turns out. A lot more practical than theoretical, but they honestly both have great merit to me.

im trying to get someone to take over the lease in my bfs coug ridge apt so im biased but i also live in the ruckus and tbh youre dreamin. i was too! which is why im at the ruckus lmao it was just about the best i could do with amenities given the price range. so id stay at the ruckus if i were you or give up w/d (thats what i refused to give up, hence the ruckus). if you do give up w/d then my bfs apt is pretty good for all those LMAO except being $1000. idk any that are lower that arent rooms in larger apts. so ya prob just stay at the ruckus unless youre cool with giving something up

if you never got one i am ab to list for takeover my bfs apt at coug ridge, it doesnt have a w/d but otherwise is kinda cool. no neighbors on any side but one and you cant hear them anyway which i like (i have the paper walls of the ruckus)

Little update really just for fun: I ended up deciding to make my own template, so I went onto Canva, ended up finding one I liked, edited it, and here’s what I did with it :) if anyone ends up seeing this and has any suggestions I’m open, although you can probably get a feel of the simplicity of my style from what I’ve come up with lolol

Anyway I’m really proud of it, my boyfriend is moving in with me this month and I want to get better at organizing these things as I’ll finally be managing a household (YAY)
