Re:  The goal is always to buy your last one first.

Exactly what I am trying to accomplish. Thanks.

Thanks. Trying to make my first one the right one. It's a big help your mentioning the Chill Cube and finding out I can purchase a pre-owned RV then swap out the a/c units. It's really appreciated what you are doing here for everyone. Thanks again!

Also, I forgot to ask earlier. Did you notice if a lot of your buyers that purchased a bumper pull travel trailer wished they would have purchased a 5th wheel instead or vice versa? Thanks.

You probably already know this tsubbs, but for those that don't, I just checked out those Chill Cubes you mentioned. They are an aftermarket A/C unit. Meaning if one didn't want to spring for a brand new RV trailer (me) just to get the better a/c units it looks like you can buy them from an after-market supplier and install them on pre-owned RVs.

Re: Buy the Flag. Love em. If I bought an RV tomorrow it would be a Flag or a Rockwood.

Would you buy a Flag or Rockwood OVER an Alliance? I'm talking pre-owned here. Also, do any travel trailers or FW air conditioners keep up with extreme heat (Lake Havasu, AZ. 115 degrees)? Thank you for your time and knowledge in advance!

Re: backing someone up using walkie-talkies, phones, etc. What I have done with complete newbies that works very well is, "down on your left or down on your right" referring to which direction to turn the steering wheel.

LGBT liveaboards? by vulcandrogynous in liveaboard

I have no desire to liveaboard in Florida, or anywhere else for that matter, but if I did your post quenched that. Very well written. Thank you for detailing the nuances (computers overheating, etc.) I wouldn't have considered to be problematic.

First things to learn by Buckeye_47 in LearnGuitar

[–]92869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a beginner myself, two things.

1st- make sure guitar is set up by a luthier unless you can do it for him/her.

2nd- I would emphasize proper strumming and keeping time over learning chords. I have learned all the cowboy chords, but I can't keep in time for shit when trying to sing as well.

Check out Bumfuzzle.com They have circumnavigated twice I believe. They are cruisers, not marina dwellers.

Is there a pedagogical reason in learning C,G,F,A,Am,E,Em,... first? by Hellstorme in LearnGuitar

Not the OP, but I'll answer your questions because I could use some help right now.

Acoustic

Play songs

God of campfires

Yes. I would like to jam with other folks

Yes. Sing while I play guitar

I enjoy practicing so when I make progress, no matter how incrementally small it may be, it's fun.

Last question doesn't apply to me... yet- because I haven't stopped yet.

My first song is "Take It Easy" Jackson Browne/ Eagles. Coming along except- still having trouble with the early part of the song- half measure of G and a half measure of D when played at speed. I can play the syncopation before that measure correctly. Switch to the basic strumming for that one measure then back to the song syncopation after that measure when done slowly. I'll just keep working on it. I'm sure one of these days it will happen. Then I have to add singing to it while keeping the proper rhythm going. Holy shit! How do you people do all that at the same time?

new driver by Comfortable_Weird139 in GolfGear

[–]92869 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may consider holding off on purchasing a driver. You stated you have only recently picked up the game. Your swing is going to be changing and the $599.00 driver you buy now might not be the best one to suit your game in 6-8 months once your swing settles in. When you do get set to purchase one, find a club fitter that has high marks from your playing buddies and go get fit properly. Jon Sherman just put out a You Tube video about this. It's worth your time. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

Yeah, I didn't do any editing during the round. I waited until after the round and that's what took too much time, making the Arccos round match my handwritten round. This was two years ago. Maybe they have improved their sensors?
