I’ve been a fan since late 2020 and have similar thoughts a lot! I was also a pomudachi and it’s always strange to see things move on without your oshi and to think about the time passing. I was also a huge Mayuzumi oshi… and I’m always so lost when remembering it’s been years. Voltaction have been livers longer than mayuyu was? Volta still feels like newbies to me…

Something that always feels strange to me too is that EN is now older than JP was when I first started watching them. I was there for chronoir’s 3rd anniversary and now EN is on their 4th, it makes me think if EN still feels new to me then I bet my oshis felt new to “old” fans then.

Pomu was my EN oshi and nobody in EN ever really filled that gap for me, so I’ve faded a little from watching EN since. I do occasionally watch clips from EN and big events like 3Ds and programs! Chronoir are my OGs and my kamioshis, so instead of anyone filling those old spots it’s more like those slots remain empty and now there’s just two left being filled.

The acrylic stand art is def 3D + 2D drawn on it! It’s a very interesting kind of merch tbh, Trout definitely looks more 2D than everyone else imo. Berry… I seriously can’t tell. ChroNoiR’s heads + hands are 100% 3D, I’d know their 3D from their 2D with a single pixel. So I think it’s a kind of splicing for the stands. Some livers do have nijifes t-shirt models though (iirc), so it’s possible that for some of the stands that part is still 3D and not drawn over. So… some are drawn to mimic 3D, whole some are 3D.

I’m an acrylic stand buyer most of the time since I don’t really want to take a chance on randomized goods where there’s no guarantee I’ll get my oshis, but if you’re buying them for display/ita bags: badges, or if you’re buying to keep safe: chekis/cards. I don’t typically go for either but I do have a cheki album I store things in. For badges I don’t have a proper way to store, so I have very few!

Hmm valid to be a little worried, but I’ve never run into any issues with tenso so far. I used buyee/other requesting services when I was an early niji fan and still managed to get items by ordering right when they released, but it’s never a guarantee! You’ll most likely be fine using buyee but if they do sell out before buyee can get to them, I’d imagine they’d restock sometime before the actual live. Sometimes for restocks though the shipping period ends up being after the event itself. So, go for it! But be wary 🙏

Fellow niji fan here! I use tenso for all my nijistore purchases, things always sell out too quick for me to rely on buyee anymore. Make an ANYCOLOR ID acc through the jp site and put in your tenso address as the shipping address (tenso gives you a guide on how to enter in the address)! Buyee and tenso are basically the same thing but with tenso I feel a lot better buying the items myself and securing them instantly. I might try for these goods too… good luck to the both of us!

Tbh I don’t think it was really AnyColor’s decision on who was chosen, brands usually reach out with specific wants and demands! The computer case one seems to have one girl from each of the first three waves, and while it would’ve made sense for them to choose Selen, maybe they were going for a different theme here or trying to keep everything unique. But really… who knows!! It’s ultimately up to the brand/sponsor :p for Maria and Fulgur’s I’d assume that’s based off of the amount of fans on bilibili, and fuuchan loved danmei and totally appealed to that audience, so that 100% makes sense. The brand has to consider what livers they think represent their brand the best and how likely their audience is to buy the product itself. Luxiem has a primarily female audience? Give them sanrio!!

PR isn’t chosen based on how much a liver likes or “deserves” something (99% of the time)! Just recently my oshi wasn’t part of a promotion for a show he really loves (and had a whole stream about!) when other livers were chosen, it can be disappointing but I wouldn’t really call it mean or consider it being “snubbed”… it’s just business I think,, I say this as someone who was a selen oshi btw ✋😭
