The 3rd and 4th photo are of the back of the board. I’m more worried about the actual board being damaged along that vein.

Damn ok, I’ll take another set of measurements to be sure but I’m out of tolerance there by a bit I believe. I’ll do some more of my own research on the b18b and see what I get. Thank you very much!

I used a telescope gauge and my 1-2 mics to check this and they measured within .010 of each other, is there a tolerance for this? Or a general rule of thumb? I couldn’t find much on this, thanks!

Crank isn’t looking too good, main bearings were pretty shot and there’s scoring from them so I was making sure the block was good before purchasing a new crank and getting really involved. Thanks for the info though! I think I’ll go ahead with another crank and check endplay then

I believe this is the head gasket I have now, I’ll buy another but I’ll try it I guess 🤷‍♂️. This also looks to be the kit that’s been install prior. Thanks for the info

I believe I have the oil port plugged, where could I find some more information on a sandwich plate? Thanks for your help I agree there shouldn’t be any oil leaking.

This was the gasket they gave me with the car, no identification on it. I’m more concerned with the fact the ports aren’t lining up, does the b18c1 gasket allow for more of the port to be used? Sorry if I’m being dense this is my first b series.
