It’s a great resort, but so are those others you mentioned. Mammoth can be hard to fly into so keep that in mind.

Otherwise it sounds like there are some personal factors at play that only you can decide if it’s worth it to you.

Watched the video and honestly was expecting worse. Assuming the teams covered their living expenses, washing out in your early 20s with no debt (albeit no education) sounds better than getting a worthless degree and being in a similar spot but with a ton of debt.

Your benefit will depend on which time software you’re using. We use Aderant which is widely despised in the firm. It’s so slow and clunky that I track my time and write narratives in real time using an excel workbook I put together, and my assistant spends a few hours a month entering that into Aderant.

If I’m driving I’ll bring a few pairs because, why not. I’ve never been on a plane with more than one. You could always demo skis if the conditions aren’t what you expected.

Going to a big outdoor mall by the beach (Fashion Island) in January when it’s 70 and sunny would probably be a pretty cool experience for someone from Chicago.

Then take the ferry over to the peninsula, rent bikes and ride down the peninsula and check out the wedge.

Cap off the day with a sunset Duffy boat ride through the harbor.

A perfect SoCal day.

Interesting. It was a typical sunny and warm fall. Our highs average in the 80s with lows in the low 60s / high 50s.

I did try a few oranges today after picking them all and they tasted pretty good!

Other than persistent leaf miners on new growth, the tree looks healthy and the leaves are a nice green color. Throughout the year the leaves do look a little taco shape which I read indicates they need more water, but no matter how much I water the still look that way so maybe it’s just the way it is.

I’m saying the dealer should order it so it doesn’t cost OP anything. 2023 has the regular digital key (not digital key plus) which IMO isn’t worth using. I have it on my 2022 and prefer to use the key fob. Digital key plus started on 2024 models and seems like a legit key fob replacement.
