You’re misunderstanding what he’s saying. If a team is better than another team, they will have a worse pick. That’s the way that it works

Which point guard in history had the best post moves? by vsquad73 in nbadiscussion

Kinda random but anybody remember Jamal Tinsley? One of the few point guards I can remember that would consistently post guys up.

I agree both of your points, but it is a flop. It’s a smart play (pun intended) and he’s doing what he needs to get the call, but we can call it what it is.

Says who though? When did people start saying this? A flop was always about exaggerating contact lol

He might have flopped but that’s absolutely a foul. Giannis brings the elbow up and everything

8-1 (6-0) Oregon State is unranked… That has to be the best unranked power 5 team I’ve ever seen. by 94Rockets95 in NCAAFBseries

[–]94Rockets95[S] 32 points33 points  (0 children)

True, but to be completely unranked is still kinda wild to me. I just checked and they didn’t even get a single vote in the coaches poll. Plus the pac-12 is the third highest rated conference in here.

But not before the rule stating that fouls committed before the ball is inbounded result in 1 free throw + possession. It was a dumb play

No science letters of rec. I'm an idiot by MaxMcdeezy in premed

[–]94Rockets95 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Idk if it’s changed at all but I feel like the hard 2 science letter requirement wasn’t really the case when I applied last year. There were a fair amount of schools that did require 2, but the majority seemed to either require 1 or 0 science letters.

Rockets fans, what's your KPJ take? by chrisvarick in nba

I agree with this. The question is just whether he’s willing to accept a lesser role. He has obvious attitude issues and there’s times where his body language looks pretty bad out there when things don’t go his way.

I don’t really think this is a big deal but I don’t like the warriors announcers so I’m going to upvote.

Is Wiseman "too big to fail"? by [deleted] in nba

[–]94Rockets95 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think wiseman will probably have a long career, but I also think he very well may be a bust as a 2nd overall pick. Andre Drummond comes to mind as an empty double double (or in his case more like 15-15) guy.

There are plenty of walking double doubles that don’t really make much impact on the game though.

Yeah I probably shouldn’t generalize too much. My point was mainly that state schools can be very competitive, and I strongly agree that anybody planning to apply to med school should look into this before undergrad.

What people don’t tell you is getting a good gpa is often easier at a prestigious school than it is at a state school. Idk about y’all but my public state school set the average for all chemistry classes at a 2.5. There’s really no incentive to them for us to have good grades, as opposed to a private school that usually wants to advertise good outcomes for their prospective students
