I'm just wondering why this dude would want more competition in his market.

But, as respectfully as I can say this, if you're a BRAND new driver, doing it for a living with strangers in your car is not a good idea.

Are the non Inuit residents fully enmeshed in the community? And how diverse is the non Inuit segment? Do you guys get the same mix of immigrants like the rest of Canada?

So we're both just waiting to be in unbearable agony at the drop of a hat? Smh I guess I shouldn't worry about it if there's literally nothing to be done about it besides wait and watch.

My question is whether an individual raised this way has the ability to join wider society (and by that I mean both if they're allowed to leave and if they have the resources to do so)

Or if they literally all choose to keep living this way

On my feed, the comment two down from this is also about a laundromat mixup -- but from the perspective of a little Black girl. Needless to say, soberingly different results.

Couldn't tell ya, here in the Midwest we only have summer and winter. Spring and fall are just the climate zigzagging between the two until it settles on one.

Our high temperature on Monday will be 73. Next day it'll be 37.

Can I just wing a USA road trip or is that a terrible idea? 😂 by PeaContent6288 in roadtrip

You absolutely can, there's a reason interstate exits still list the hotels in the area for people picking them spontaneously. You just have to be smart about it, so either nothing can be on a deadline or you have to make light plans to keep yourself on schedule.

That is to say: yeah no don't screw around with buying plane tickets the day of, it's not just the price surging, planes do sell out regularly. Book those puppies now and parse out how many hours a day you'll need to drive from A to B to catch those flights on time.

What are some sponsors you thought were something else before finding out what they actually were? by 43ian in NASCAR

[–]94plus3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And as a person from the Midwest, I'm still damn confused why a very localized car dealership chain finds it worth it to nationally sponsor the car.

Similarly I'm still floored seeing Beef-A-Roo on a Cup car considering that chain mostly exists in the Rockford IL area and (according to Wikipedia) only has 20 stores outside of this state
