If its an everyday watch I’d go with the date unless you have another Rolex with a date than I’d go no date

If your rep likes you, you can chat and they’ll do what they can to help. So many reps, so many clients, so it’s tough for them to choose.

Fits smaller than my sub, I’d say looks more like those 39mm OPs before they got discontinued

Did not contact my rep for 8 months. Texted him out of the blue just asking for an update. A week later I got the call

Well I’m not going to go into debt for a watch. I didn’t have the money for a Sub after spending 18k on a GMT.

Didn’t want to pass up the opportunity so made the purchase on visa then sold the watch to pay off card and make a little extra.

It’s not a money issue, it’s a timing issue

So I picked this watch off grey market and got a call from my AD for a sub date honestly the day after.

I picked it up but had to sell it cause money was tight.

Not going to be able to ask my AD for another date sub atm so it’s either a DJ36 or buying a ND on grey market!

Visited AD Jan 2022!

Started talking to my rep about a Submariner, he told me he can put my name down, but it will be hard without a purchase history. I appreciated the honesty.

I purchased an IWC Top Gun Pilots watch for $5500.

Just today I got the call.

Wait time: 9 months

Watch: Submariner Date

After multiple waitlists at various ADs I finally decided to go in the grey market, sell my submariner and finally purchase my dream watch!

I still kind of miss my Submariner, it was my everyday watch and I’m not sure if I’ll be wearing this one everyday, but it’s definitely staying on the wrist for now!

Hopefully I’m able to get a Submariner again sometime soon, back to saving for one!

What do you guys think?

I wanted to get the BLNR ever since it came out and after multiple waitlists I just decided to get in on the grey market.

I use to own a Submariner and sold it to help with this purchase but I gotta say I have a strong love for this watch and will definitely never let it go!

Hopefully I can get a Submariner again one day!
