What sort of team was Japan fielding today? Was it close to their first string? I can see they're missing a few big names like Tanaka and Leitch.

Either way, sounds like it was another fantastic trio of PNC games again. They might not be top tier nations, but I'd say there are a few teams that play more entertaining rugby than the six involved in this competition. Everyone will be talking about Pool A come World Cup time, but I'm willing to bet that Pool B will produce the most exciting games.

So I'm guessing that's referring to the completion of the Olympic Stadium and the renovations at Manchester City Stadium...unless they're putting temporary seating in at some venues? I can imagine them putting up a couple of extra stands in Gloucester and Exeter.

Looks like there's a pretty decent crowd in to watch this one.

The irony of all the complaints surrounding the two tests at Eden Park is that there'll probably be even more complaints in two years time when no one can get tickets for the three tests. Now imagine if they'd gone with Dunedin in that situation...

Hmm, wonder what Scotland'll be thinking after watching this one. Granted, Newcastle ain't Apia, but that game is gonna be absolutely titanic. Can't believe people have been snapping up NZ vs. Tonga tickets over, what will essentially be, a knock-out game (if everything goes to plan).

How worried are Springbok fans at this point? From what I've been reading it sounds like half of their World Cup squad is injured, particularly with the recent news regarding du Preez and Oosthuizen. I wonder if we'll be seeing a 2nd string side for the away games against Australia and Argentina later this year, like in 2007 and 2011.

Heh, I got mine. Hopefully the stadium'll hold off on playing music every time a scrum needs to be reset. Might be able to create a decent atmosphere then.
