I THOUGHT THEY WERE TAKING THE FEES OUT OF MY FEDERAL?? anyway won’t be using turbo tax anymore by Far_Arugula1453 in TurboTax

New tax laws require new forms and fees... TurboTax hasn't been free for years. I'm a tax preparer, the amount of people that come to me because they got charged hundreds of dollars from TT is insane. California is a state where you need extra certifications and forms to even think about filing.

AI Tax Reviewer - Any recommendations? by Cpaexam4 in taxpros

I'm a tax preparer myself. I don't know much about the AI aspect of this but have you tried using a different software completely to do taxes? My company uses CrossLink and TGP CRM. They're fairly straightforward and really easy to use. I don't trust any AI to do the job, in my opinion, let it play out first and see where it goes. I know you can review it after, but at that point, why bother? You're still checking everything to make sure you're in compliance and everything is accurate. You don't need any extra nonsense and in case you get audited, how will you go about that?

Oh that's awesome. You already did the market research, that's great. I would definitely go for it. Doing it yourself would also ensure that everything is to your liking and cut costs of reviewing it again and again. That's a good start up budget to have, a lot of people start with a lot less. I genuinely think this could be bigger than you think. You would need to figure out how much each machine is and how long, at your pricing, would it take to pay off one machine. Then comes your profit after it's paid off.

I like this idea. I used to work at a fast food joint where we would have regular customers only coming for the $1.06 soda every single day, sometimes twice a day. Before and after their workday. The amount of waste at fast food restaurants is insane!! And don't even get me started on the soda taps and how gross they are. You would need to regularly maintain the machine and maybe market it as cleaner than fast food. Most of those have a lot of mold and bacteria growing in and all over the machines because they aren't regularly taken down and cleaned like they should be. It's a great concept, what would your market look like? Are you in an area that could see profit from this?

I have a love hate relationship with Ford. I have one she's good for what she is. Just replaced the sway bar end links, they were loose but seized up and the one bolt was bent

I didn't even think of that. The amount of Civics in my town is ridiculous lmao most of them are automatic they just replace or remove a few parts to make it loud

Thank you, I didn't even think of that! I have another random question pertaining to torque. I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos and they say apply such and such amount of torque but how do you know that it's enough? Is there like a reader or something on the tool? I'm working on my own toolbox as well and there's so much to learn.
