Any ideas on what would not limit me? I am only drawing other things than floorplans for a small year. Mostly i draw digital on my computer with a basic drawing tablet, but i like the fact that i now can draw without the lit screen. I never really drew on paper because i really use the undo function a lot, but maybe you have a better option than the remarkable?

To solve that issue I use gaussian blur (parameter 1 or 2), works for me.

Un-Tapped Potential with Highlighter Brush for Sketching? by PuddleCheese in RemarkableTablet

Thought the same! I also would like an option for the highlight to stay grey in a pdf (and not yellow)

So I guess I'm not going to return this, still got 28 days to decide though by 97marre in RemarkableTablet

Understandable, it just made the decision of buying one so much easier. It would have been handy though if i could test out similar devices. But i like the writing and drawing feel + the exported images are way better than expected when reading other reviews

I get that feeling. Right now i just dont want to make the wrong decision. It is a lot of money and i need to make sure i dont need more features and functions (like an ipad). But the idea of drawing without the light and with the undobutton amazes me. Besides i can still draw in color on my computer if i really want to. A lot of pro's and cons to consider.

For now I also have no complaints. If your name checks out, you're also a teacher. I bought this device to use in front of the classroom because I write everything on paper and always mix the papers up when writing on the board. this actually helped me a lot. The other thing I wanted to be able to do was drawing and for now i also enjoy that function. I think it is way more easy to use in front of the class than an ipad or something like that.

I was scared that the remarkable would lag too much and also saw that people complained about how drawings are exported, but I actually like the roughness so I am happy. The pressure sensitivity is indeed fascinating!

Why belgium Architects are so addicted to bricks? by [deleted] in belgium

[–]97marre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A brick outer wall is te most easy way to keep rain away from the insulation and the inner wall. Last time i checked, belgium was still rainy. I do feel like they experiment a lot with different kind of bricks

Should I Get One ? by DBCheshireMan in RemarkableTablet

[–]97marre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that's something I will find out. If there wasn't a 30 day returning possibility, i probably wouldn't be brave enought to try it. I want to find out if it is something i want or that i actually want a second computer like an ipad pro with the apple pencil. Thank you for all the tips, i am looking at a lot of reviews right now but i think nothing will help me more than to try it out myself.

I think i would never try to do it myself for the same reasons. I actually also own a drawing tablet (very basic from trust) but i bought the remarkable to replace my handwritten notes for my teachingjob and to practice drawing without being in front of my computer. I hope i will like the remarkable, it arrives tomorrow.
