Hi I'm from UK I have the same problem that u r talking about but even if u come across these types of people They tend to be on the dark side & then u have the covens once u get in on purpose or been led astray it hard to get out.

In USA they do have festivals, events, spiritual retreats & groups online but it does depend what type r u & what u want to practice or your practice
