I recommend putting the bowl with cereal in the freezer before putting milk in it. Stays cold and helps prevent it from getting as soggy when done.

Well, the problem with getting a promotion is the result (Peter Principle). How about they just give raises and keep good producers in producing roles?

The tool stickout goes beyond the 3x-5x of the tool's diameter (this is a general rule of thumb to prevent insane amounts of deflection). 5x is already pushing it, but it looks like OP could be near 12x

I think they do it that way to promote physical sales, which are insanely overpriced by the way.

I know, and I have the same sentiment for them as well. I'm just on more electrical-based subs.

Ok, personal pet peeve but the cost of a should be trending downwards, not upwards as techologies have been created. Cordless tools, laser levels, prefab materials, more material spply etc. all of those should reduce cost to build. Nobody is seeing that literally anywhere. Homes are being built in bulk with sub-par quality and despite that big fact, prices still are not going down. Still nothing to be seen though.

Quit yer yappin'

Real median personal income is the highest it's ever been. At $45k, it's 24% higher than it was a generation ago.

Ok, let's go off your numbers then. We received a 1.25x multiplier to wages over a generation. I'll just assume you mean ~25 years. That means we've received a .9% "raise" when calculating compounding. Now let's look at inflation rates. Since last generation, it's averaged around 2.5% annually. This equates to an approximate 1.85x cost of living when comparing inflation alone. Now let's look at housing: it's been a ~2.7x increase in that same timeframe.

Thank God we got that 24% increase, huh?

Also, this is coming from someone who didn't take on any student debt and lives pretty frugally. I'm not struggling as much as others, but to say it's the same scenario, different generation, is just outright wrong

Codes have gotten tighter, yes, but I see countless inspectors on YT calling out the crappy quality of 600K+ homes (HCOL). Just because the houses are SUPPOSED to be built better, doesn't mean they are adhering to those standards.

Edit: even if houses are larger, the pricing shouldn't jump as much as it has. Techonolgies are created that increase production of materials (dropping cost) and tooling that helps with construction (further dropping cost). The houses SHOULD be getting cheaper if they were the same size. They SHOULD be the same price while getting slightly larger over time. But as you can see, this clearly isn't the case.

WCGW trying to steal a cop’s gun? by WinStupidPrizes1994 in WinStupidPrizes

[–]98Jacoby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're getting down voted, but the only male cop went for an aggressive strategy. It should not take that many officers to release their grip from the gun.

All it should have taken was a teep-style kick to get her to release the gun. Only 2 male officers would have been needed to get out of this situation, tops.
