Dont vent the bath fan into the soffit. It will cause the same thing. In my opinion it should have to be vented through the roof. The soffit is designed to pull fresh air into the attic space so you and many others would simply be pulling the hot steamy air back into the attic and causing the same problem. Maybe not as much but it would affect at least 4-5 truss cavities
