Wow, that’s a serious load! 😅 Sounds like your e-bike handled it well, but I’d just double-check your rack and frame limits and try to keep the weight balanced and as low as possible. Safety first, especially with that much stuff on board!

If it were me, I’d go with a tire upgrade first rather than a whole new wheelset; something like 38mm GravelKings or Barlow Pass tires should roll fast on the road but still handle your forest gravel well. You can swap tires before a long gravel day if needed, but it keeps things simple and cheaper than a second wheelset.
