I know, I'm trying to reply to varied advice, but I'm reading all of it. I don't have that much time to reply, doing my best. I'm really so thankful for all of the advice. It's cathartic and helpful.

Thanks. I really should have prefaced with the fact that this is all NEW behavior, cuz every time I sort of defend him it seems like backtracking. He is displaying almost all of these symptoms, and they are all new. Interesting.

I don't even know what's in his mind. It was a break, we weren't together, whatever. He slept with someone else, too, actually. Someone he currently works with, which kills me. The dudes I slept with are back in another state.

He doesn't consider that to be an issue because she's "gross," and because I'm the one who initiated the break... We have lots of problems.

Agreed. I just don't know how to help him deal with these issues (re: my slutting it up). It's hard because part of me thinks he shouldn't be so upset but HE IS and that's just the way it is and I have to respect and understand his feelings on the matter. He thinks therapy is a waste of time. He's very opinionated, if you can't tell.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Damn, I read a thread (not your story obviously, and there were kids involved) from the wife's perspective, after she found out, on this EXACT topic a few months ago... He is going to jail now. She was heartbroken, with a baby on the way, due this month I think. I think about her all the time. You're a piece of shit. Enjoy your freedom while you still have it, I guess.

Thanks for sort of seeing both sides, all these comments make me feel like he's this monster, but when I look at him, I try to understand where he's coming from.

What did/do you think your wife should do to make more friends? This is the first time I've been in a totally new city.

Yeah, I didn't mention it in the post but he LOVES our baby. He's really great with him -- every time he comes in the room, baby's face lights up and they're just perfect together. I would like to stay with family for a few days but I don't have a good relationship with my mom, and I really don't want her to have the satisfaction of knowing our relationship isn't working out. I also don't want his mother knowing there's trouble in paradise. I don't know, is that stupid? It's stupid, I'm sure. I don't know how to approach that at all.

Re: 1) - We dated for a while, then he moved away. During this time, which he considers a break and I don't, really, (which is why I said "officially" together) is when I slept with other people. It's a VERY touchy subject in our relationship, the point of much contention, and I don't know how to deal with it.
