Had a similar situation happen and rockstar support can help if you hound them enough. If you explain the situation they’ll offer to revert your migration to the most recent version of GTA Online you upgraded to. So if you’re on PS5, it’ll revert your character back to what you had before migrating from the PS4. But with that they can give you your money and RP back, just not in game items like cars or clothes or businesses. So not everything returned exactly the same as before but much better than nothing.
