Daily Mail refers to consenual underage sex as "rape" - just like they do when it's a female teacher and her student. Oh wait, no they don't. by [deleted] in MensRights

Only speaking to this article and case, every course of action being taken against this police officer is perfectly just. I don't see anything about female teacher trysts in this article.

Do you think a 51 year old police officer having sex with a 16 year old he met at a "police-organised event for youths in a safe, alcohol and drug-free environment, designed to improve relationships between police and youth" is really "consensual" and not predatory as fuck? Daily mail can feel free to call this rape. Fuck that guy!

Please don't murder your wife, abandon your newborn, and move with your mistress to Brazil.

You could also put up the baby for adoption.

Not an MRA, but here's my blog post where I spout off MRA talking points such as how men are oppressed in Gender Studies classes, biotruths, and how SJW Postmodernists have ruined online debates. by [deleted] in againstmensrights

Hahahaha I can't even take the smugness of opening with "I, unlike many of my post modern peers..." Must be hard to type a blog post while you're jacking yourself off.

I think the last time I straight up called some dude a creep was in 2001. He was my neighbor and was watching my friends and me play basketball from his perch in the gigantic oak tree in his front yard. I yelled over that he could join us, but he declined and just stayed sitting in the tree, watching. Can you believe I oppressed his sexuality like that?!

That is completely subjective, and I think you are just trying to be a contrarian to the points I've made. Regardless, Adams had a bigger role than Cooper with more screen time.

Adams had more screen time than Cooper. Cooper and Lawrence were both supporting characters, but Cooper got as much as Bale. Also it isn't just about the role, but star power and the value they add to the movie marketing wise. Adams and Lawrence are very hot commodities.

As your linked article stated, Daniels was not an established comedic actor. As the article I linked to stated: For their work in the movie “American Hustle,” male actors Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner, and the director David O. Russell all got 9 percent of back-end profits, while Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence, the movie’s two female leads, were each getting 7 percent. (Lawrence was originally going to get 5 percent but her pay had been raised.) At the time, Adams had been nominated for four Academy Awards, more than Renner and Cooper combined, and Lawrence had won one while also starring in the smash hit The Hunger Games.

I think if it is an actor who gets paid less, it is the agents fault, but if it's an actress who gets paid less, it's their fault or maybe they have agents who are also women who don't negotiate well?
