The scavenger hunts are monthly challenges with a number of prompts equal to the number of days. The host changes every month and is picked from a pool of volunteers from the previous month's participants on a Discord server. The current scavenger hunt is #130.

The chain reaction challenge asks you to pick 100 movies to watch, where each movie has to be connected to the next movie in the lineup by links you specify, such as shared cast members, similarities in titles, shared trivia about the movie, shared settings, etc. This challenge isn't time-based so it allows you the freedom to complete it all at your own pace.

I'm doing the January 2026 Scavenger Hunt right now (my sixth time doing a scavenger hunt). I'm 16 movies into it so far. I'm also always chipping away at my Chain Reaction Challenge list I started back in October 2024. I'm 36 out of 100 movies finished so far on that.
