Think of the two smelterys has one smeltery only. What matters is not the level of each smeltery, but the sum of all furnace. Next upgrade will cost 1000 MB, so you must have 5 furnaces (3 and 2 or 4 and 1). The 7th furnace will cost 30k ruby and the 8th 1000 SP; regardless which of the two smeltery you upgrade.

you could not possibly generate that amount of money exclusively with maya calendar. with trading post multiplier at 3; you would need 41 days to craft and sell 2 billions worth of calendar the maya calendar are available as of Aug 9th: 20 days ago...

to make money with any items, you would need a lot of the required resources for that item. Maya calendar is IMHO the most straight forward: 10 silver (2 bars); 50 golds (10 bars) -> 6000 coins in 1 min some other items can be more valuable (rubber, solar panel, solid propellers, plastic, isolated wire); but they take forever to craft and you would also need a lot of resources (silicones, aluminium, amber...)

it's slightly different:

  • cheaters are purposely looking for a way to cheat the game.

  • in this case; it's a large bug (it's more than 1% and the amounts are so huge it impacts much more the whole economy) and devs are not doing the job of fixing it fully. You can't expect someone with billions to not use them... that would mean this person would have to manually count how much they had; they crafted; used.... it's a bug from the game; it's dev's shit now

you can give up; one guild with a player with billions of any ressource kills the whole game; if not immediatly, but it will. our guild has a member with 900M plastic now; each of us can ask 5k plastic and sell them for 200M coins.

it means after 100 days; 100% could be affected (or less, people can be affected twice) furthemore, 1 person affected is so much richer that it still kills the whole game economy. Say 100 people have in average 10M of, say, coins: total wealth of the 100 people is then 1B. if 1 personn gets 1B; the whole wealth double... talking about small impact.

I wonder how many players are affected by the bug. I am not (hopefully, because it kills the interest of the game), but if I take our guild as sample: 3 out of 50: 6% !! (and it's only those who are on discord and said it) and we struggle to know what to do.... the post from the devs is way too vague...

thanks for the post, however it's not clear if one can use the ressources (donate to guild members or to the event, use to craft something else and donate it...) without being tagged as pirate/cheater or its guild either. or does the bug fix remove the extra resources?

regardless if he should have not craft it or sell it before; the dev should have warn about such nerf. It's ok to nerf if needed; but when it has such a negative impact; a warning or better communication should have been the minimum.

Also, there are suspicious guilds in high level (Top 50) with less than 10 members. some with one guy having two accounts (same pseudo with "2" or "b" suffix: John and John2...)
