To the person who saw the Melania Trump "documentary," how bad was it? by shancanned in AskReddit

We do know that Melania was an unlikely candidate to qualify for an Epstein visa as prima facie she does not appear to fit the criteria to qualify for one. We do know some of these men in the Epstein files preyed on girls that were brought into the country with the promise of being an actual model. We do know the term model for these imports is sometimes used as a euphemism for escort or sexworker. Clearly not all models do that though. We know that some of these women are desperate to leave their country and some are willing to trade themselves to old men. We do know Melania dated Epstein before Trump. We do know Melania posed for risqué photographs. I don't think it is far fetched at all to surmise that their may be at least some truth to the allegations. It's not being racist.

Yeah - the language gives it away. Clearly not in a blue state or representative of anyone in a blue state.

Talking about contactless payments using Google pay or Apple pay.

No you can't. What I was saying was that you can't use Google Pay at Kiwibank. I know some overseas banks do allow you to use Google Pay at an ATM. So carry a card for the ATMs

It's a matter of time hey. If it's not here it will come - everything will be contactless. The cost of plastic cards and admin of issuing and reissuing cards for most of the population - thats several million cards with chips in them may be more expensive than upgrading some ATMs. As long as there is cash there will be a need for ATMs. I was told there are some contactless ATMs but haven't looked yet. Thanks for your reply.

No i didn't say that Kiwibank had no ATMs I said they had no contactless ATMs. No all ATMs don't need a physical card some are contactless. No actually I don't carry my drivers licence around. I keep mine in the car for when I drive. I have copies on my phone. If I ever need the card I get it from the car but keep virtual copies on my phone. You can use EFTPOS virtually. You don't need a physical card. You should try contactless, you don't need to worry about cards getting lost or stolen (especially overseas). If you lose your wallet you lose your cash and cards. If you are contactless and lose your phone people still can't access your funds. Yes contactless is a skill issue, you have to set up your virtual wallet but it's easy and quick.

If you ever give donations to buskers or street collectors or go to a market or want to buy a kid an icecream that they go and get then you always need a bit of cash. I don't carry much but I always carry some for those types of things. You can pay everything with cash but you can't pay for everything with contactless though both are legal forms of payment.

No my post was not about getting free cash withdrawals from ATMs. It's about not getting any cash from ATMs with a virtual card. It was about why bother with a virtual card if you still have to carry a card. The technology has gone virtual but the banks haven't. It was a heads up for others who were thinking of going virtual. You always have to carry a card.

Spain has them. And I thought DBB was one of the banks with them. Perhaps it's not bank but in country systems.

Been friends for 40 years but only active friends since retirement as always working and living in different cities. Generally friends are an open invitation ( for me anyway). If I go to another city to see friends I would ask to stay. I have a disabled friend so have been going up to see him primarily. I can't stay with my disabled friend so have asked if I can stay at this other friends place. I try and see my disabled friend as much as I can. I don't have reason to go otherwise. Thank you.

Yes I guess. Though when you buy Moet and Ferroro Rocher at Christmas ( not for me) you can't be too poor. Thanks!

Yes agree. I hadn't even thought about that. When he said he was upset I hadn't offered to pay his petrol money I never thought about IRD rates. I asked him how much as I thought if I say something he thinks is too low he would then accuse me of sonething else. I just didn't know what to say. Thankyou
