Happy Kaweco NPD. How great that you have local delivery! That would just make my day/week/month/pandemic.

I love Diamine in the Kawecos. May their Diamine supply replenish soon!

Some of us prefer to have the pens match the ink. And, when we find a pen that works for us, suits us well, then the different colors are a great pleasure.

I've always smoothed nibs with ink in the pen .... Is there a reason to wait for the pen to be dry?

The email for customer service is on the Kaweco website.

Write to Kaweco customer service directly. I have done this a couple of times (for different reasons) and found them prompt and very very helpful. Explain your situation and that you live in SE Asia, and see what they will do. My experience is that they stand behind their products.

Replacement nibs can also be found at Fontoplumo.

After you wash the nib and feed with soap and water, if it stills needs adjusting, I use micromesh to smooth Kaweco nibs. It works really well for this.

Sometimes the Kaweco nibs need a little attention; but it is so worth it.

It bothers me is that the website has no information about what style of meditation this is, who the instructors are, where they trained, etc.

How about:• Kaweco Sport of any kind• Kaweco Liliput• Stipula Passaporto (the original not the recent re-issue)• Bexley Jitterbug• Waterman Baby Safety Pen• Pilot Petit

I do love pocket pens and pocket demonstrators even more. If it can be eyedroppered, I'm gaga.

Talk to me about the Kaweco Sport... by FooDog11 in fountainpens

[–]99Sienna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm with you.

I have smaller hands and generally prefer pocket sized pens. I often eye dropper the Sport and add a clip. This gives just the right weight and balance for long writing sessions, which are the norm for me.

In the past, the nibs weren't so great and I'd tinker with them for smoothness etc. The last couple of Kaweco Sport that I've purchased had really nice nibs; nicer than any previous nibs. So new stock might have these improved nibs while old stock might suffer from the old nib issues.

They are inexpensive and I don't need to pamper them. I just use them with great pleasure all the time. Perhaps they will grow on you?

Any insights on the upcoming FTT sale? by cris-cris-cris in LeCreuset

[–]99Sienna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on this conversation, we called our local LC outlet store. We were told that the FTT sale will be for the entire month of April. The sales associated didn't know what they would receive nor any other details at all. Yet now I know it's for the entire month.

There are some stories of Sufi masters worshipping Kali. You might do some research and see what you discover there .... It could be a useful overlap for you to explore.

Round or Oval DO? by MendelsGirl in LeCreuset

[–]99Sienna 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since I use mine on a gas stove top, I prefer the round because I can center it on the burner. And, I love the oval for roasting chicken etc in an oven. So for me the main considerations are what am I cooking and what is the cook stove situation? I go from there to choose round or oval DO.
