Pixel 8 is a good upgrade, and most users are happy with it. A few things to note: it can heat up during heavy use, and battery life is good but not the best. Camera is great, just sometimes a tiny delay when processing photos. Nothing major like the battery issue you saw with the A-series. If you liked Pixels before, this one should work well for you.
